Where do you get your ideas from?

Hi, guys! After getting my first conversion in a while I decided that I want to promote CPA offers until I make enough money to invest in something else.
It would be ideal if I could promote offers without spending money, because I really don't have any to invest at the moment.
So far, I made my first landing page with HTML and CSS. It was a crappy one, but I got one conversion. My problem is that I'm not sure how to find landing pages to get inspired from or to rip off and edit. (I know that ripping off pages isn't a good idea)
I want to be able to have a high quality landing page, without a builder, is that possible, if so, what course should I check out or what should I look for? I've tried to look myself, but have failed at finding what I'm looking for.
Any help is appreciated as I'm willing to do the work, but I don't really know where to start.
