I purchased an edu last night and it works perfectly fine. I was able to register for office 365 and amazon prime. Did anyone have any luck with Spotify? I believe Apple Music doesn’t work because it asks for a copy of the student ID. Spotify keeps giving me a message stating that it’s unable to verify me as a student.

There is always a chance for account to deactivted. However you should use it to claim the benefits and drop it.
You can claim 5TB Microsoft drive with it too.
