Anybody making apps with android studio 3.1

Ever since I update to android studio 3.1 I have not been able to make a simple useful app... I don't know how I magically made an app but it won't let me put an admob in it. I was making apps with the other studio but since the update, It has been gradle error or a plugin error, my codes are fine, but it's just as if the IDE is bent on not allowing me do anything. Recently this is the error is shows displays after I tired to update the gradle as it suggested claiming it would make builds faster and all, hoping it would make things normal I tried the update and started getting this( https://docs.gradle.org/4.7/userguide/gradle_daemon.html) is anybody else facing this problem? How can I continue using this studio offline and not have to sync gradle. I can't even start a new project. It's always showing that error with that link.

What if you start fresh? Completely remove the Android Studio, get a clean copy of your code and try again.

Yeah... I'm considering that as my last option.

Maybe it would be a good idea to hire a developer in such case? And generally speaking, if you can't do something yourself, I think that it's better to hire professionals. Of course it's a good think to learn constantly but learning process takes too much time.

Have you tried Visual Studio Code + Android Studio Plugin? That usually helps until Android Studio itself stops being a little bitch.

U mean I code and compile in visual studio with and android studio plugin?

Same thing happens to me when ever I am making apps on the new version of the app errors everywhere have to completely uninstall and grab a fresh copy.

So did the errors stop after u grabbed the fresh one or did it persist?
