Stumbled Upon a piece of expiring/backdrop domain here

And I love the critic knowledge of our fellow members, would like to know is this a gem or kind of okay thing to possess this. (or a complete waste :anyway:)

Thoughts?

My thought, #SPAM

If your visitors are mostly from India, there is usually no value in backlinks from India for example. Moreover, you risk getting spammy links and thus it hurts your rankings with no doubt.

As others have said, that looks like like spam and a complete waste of time.

That was a fad for a while, a long time ago. Perhaps not spam in the toxic sense, but Google isn't that stupid anymore. It may be being used as more of an indexing method than anything in your case.

I think you are getting things mixed up here. Visitors from india might not be as important to advertisers and therefore adsense, for example will pay lower rates compared to tier 1 countries. However getting a backlink from india is just as valuable as a link from any other country. Do you think google cares? All they look at is DA/PA. I would prefer a link from the Indiatimes (92/70) any day over e.g. an amateur gardener who started a blog on his hobby from the US ;)
