Blog commenting is still working for backlink

i want to do some blog commenting with hi DA sites is this technique still works or not please suggest me

That's what I did. Although my website is 8 months old but uses an expired domain.

I just wrote content and then commented on other blogs for backlinks.

My site is regularly beating out more established websites in Google. Either my blog comments backlinks are effective or my competitors have weak SEO.

For me, blog comments are still effective. Depends on the niche and competition maybe. More difficult niches might need more powerful backlinks.

Do you care if the blog is well established or not? Would it be worth it to post on small blogs or are these links useless?

It would be better to comment on blogs that are well established and with a high DA. But I also comment on small or newer blogs. It doesn't take a minute of my time so no harm in trying right?

I agree with some comments, it depends on the site. If the blog is toxic then it could hurts your SEO.

For a local site, I use a local forum, it adds no-follow for all links but the sign, the sign allows do-follow ;-)

No, almost all are nofollow.

I don't go around looking for d0follow blogs to comment on (if there are any, they're most likely spammed to death). If I find a blog that allows my URL to be posted, and as long as the comment section is not full of spammy links, I post a comment on it. I make sure that my comment makes sense and relevant to the article. I find that asking a question will increase the chance of my comment being approved. After all, bloggers love to be asked because they want to feel like an authority.

I've probably commented on more than 100 blogs and now have more than 30,000 backlinks pointing to my site. Almost all are nofollow. My site is slowly increasing in traffic and rankings. Even my new articles get ranked in the first page after 2 weeks or so.

My site backlinks are probably about 90% blog comments. The rest are links from other websites (a few bloggers linked to my articles) and Web 2.0 (Quora, Tumblr, etc.)

I don't think there's a limit to how many comments you can post per day. But I think it will hurt your site if you post hundreds of comments in 1 day. You gotta make it look natural. 100s of comments in 1-2 days looks forced and unnatural.

Could you give us an example of the keyword difficulty this technique is working with? Are we talking "losing weight on abs" or "losing weight on abs and arms at the same time in summer" lol

I'm not going to share my keywords here..lol.

But these are easy keywords because they're country specific. But I've also ranked for global keywords, especially in the Android niche.

"Losing weight" is a difficult keyword. I don't think blog comments will be effective here.

Yes good for some anchor text diversity. Make sure to have low obl & niche related comment links for better results. Recommend to use your name or brand name as anchors.

Hi,

It might work but the thing which needs the attention is the approval. There are sites which are highly potential to give the benefits in terms of link building but whether they will approve or not it depends. But make sure you always do this manually not robotically.

Can't people just learn.
Build your site for humans and you will never have to worry about SEO again.
If commenting gives me the traffic i need then down with SEO.

Listen, Google is going to rank you if there is real human activities on your site.
All they care about is how important your website is to visitors.
It's a tech age and they are using them judiciously and beyond your imaginations.

Probably not. I avoid Disqus comments.
