One more noob question please. From your experience, pointing 2 or more web 2.0 like this (Tumblr blog) to a single website, does it have any positive effect on the money site in term of ranking faster or higher or you consider it as a waste of resources that can be used to rank another website?

Too many factors that exist based on your question, but they definitely help and they are not much of a waste of resources as they are quite cheap to find and set up. Even using paid tools tbf.

How about using multiple web 2.0 for a single website Eg: Tumblr, Weebly etc. Can this also affect ranking of the website positively or you advice against it? Thanks again in advance.

They are just links from different sites so it all helps, though having links from too many Web 2.0s could look spammy. As mentioned in the beginning they are good for diversity.

Try a different tumblr name. Not all 404 tumblr blogs are available.

You need to find those that are not banned by tumblr, but those that are deleted by their owners.
Only a small portion of all 404 are available for registration.

Your solution is to check more 404's for registration.
That is the last step to find expired tubmlrs. When you check availability for registration.
Checking for 404's is the step before.

Great method! I have just give it a try and found an available account with PA 36. And it was within 5 minutes + 10 minutes to set up an account and add a backlink. Worth trying using automation tools!

I use expired weebly, overblog, yola also. The others seem a waste of time to me. You can find some, but it really is not cost effective.

Ideally use a different IP for each new blog that you create. At least during the same day.
Create the account, verify it and let it sit for a few weeks or months.
Just use random usernames at this phase.

When you find an expired tumblr that you want to register, get one of the accounts that you registered and change the username.

You can also try to buy tumblr accounts to skip registration phase.

This is a nice method, I've been using it for some time, but using Scrapebox for most parts.

TIP: if you want to update plenty of those, and not have to worry about proxies and direvtly loging in to Tumblr, you can set up Wordpress multisite, set your Web2.0s to update from those RSS feeds, and then automate updating your own WP subsites. It's a lot easier and you don't have to worry about automating postings to your tumblrs. RankerX, SENuke and other programs can spin and post automatically to these. IFTTT offers updating from RSS option for Wordpress, Weebly, Tumblr, Blogspot and Medium. And while you're at it, you can than automate few bookmarking accounts through IFTTT (diigo, pocket...) to give your Web2.0 posts some instant natural backlinks. You can go even further and create FB/Twitter/Other social accounts to give your post some instant social shares too

Well, you are not the only one using IFTTT on tumblr I use mix of several things to keep it a bit different, but even on accounts where I have just the posts from IFTTT and from the same RSS feed domain, I did not have any problems. You can do several things to keep it a bit random, like not using only one RSS feed on all accounts, mix the sources. You can also queue 200 posts when you're logged in, and set up it to post once a day (see if New XKit extension works for you), use different templates etc, but I wouldn't worry too much about IFTTT part .

Thanks for the guide. Anyone else getting a "Unusual traffic from your computer" error from G on every search using this method? I tried multiple dedicated proxies (and even my local IP) and I get hit with a multi-step captcha every time. Any way to avoid this?
