Dropshipping cannabis in canada

Hi ,
I never get into dropshipping before and i know they will be lots of competition but id like to try something.
Canada will legalize cannabis in october and they are already some websites selling marijuana online and customers receive their order true the delevery post.
Is it possible to use shopify for that or wordpress site with regular hosting or i should use an offshore hosting service ?

If it becomes legal in Canada, then one would think a host based in Canada should be fine. Plus being local to Canada will help your site rank on Canadian Google. Setting up your own website will be a great idea if nobody else has done it yet, I don't think Shopify stores rank. So I'd go with WordPress and set up a store theme and plugins, and when you get orders just dropship as normal.

Well it shouldnt since it is legal? But people do like to see what they are buying,but might be an idea..But like when you want bread,would you buy bread online or just go to shop? Maybe if you have rare breeds?

yes true but in some province the gouvernement will sell it and the private sector is not allowed except online..

you will only be allowed to buy from dispicary with a medical card


you can not order it over mail or online.

some dispencerys do home delavary but rare only in real medical cases like cancer or Parkinson.

it still illegal to post drugs even if it been legalised.

a despencery has a doctor that authorise you as a drug user to use the drugs as a medication via card proof ...

if i get a chance i will invest in one in canada, huge money involved.(( that I will invest heavy , only if i am allowed as a outsider ill go xxxk in .))

don't think ill be allowed as uk rules me investing in such business , brakes all business uk laws .(( we are working on it ))

i dont do drugs, but my whole family into cancer research heavy , so if canabis can help, if worth a shot...

would be nice to have a shop running and the profits helping the really sick the dieing cancer ect ect .

I don't think making cash would be a moral choice on sick people .

Like a poster above said ... sending medical via any mail is still illegal. That being said, a lot of retail shops will need basic services to promote their brand/weed. Definitely opportunities to profit

its illegal but they are many website that doing it in the moment.. anyone can order , my friend get his weed on a website since a year now and only loose one order 300$.. He didnt receive any advice.. im not sure i can add the website link here but anyways .. i was impressed how easy it is.

Well that would still be illegal, you don't need to wait until legalization to sell it but could get in trouble. Government will have full power on the selling of cannabis.

Government will have full power on the selling in Quebec like for almost everything.. and one or two others province. Im not sure but i think private sector will be allow in all the other one. Just like different province allowed or not people to grow there own plants. My questions was more about the hosting. Its been some time now its legal in somes states like colarado. People there have experience i tought more people would like to get into that huge market..
