I almost don't want to share this because I'm afraid the "fix" may break something on Windows 7 (please don't), but here you can see the ultimate proof of what I was talking about in my previous posts. It took me weeks to actually acquire a 7940x, as the first time I got scammed by Amazon (someone had returned the wrong processor in the box, they sent me a 7-year old Xeon. Second time the company sent me a .50 cent Chinese pedometer instead of the processor, finally ordered directly from an Intel authorized distributor).

After 30+ minutes of running 2x Link Extractors on 500 threads each, 30s timeout, I'm at a minimum CPU usage of 10% per instance, and not even enough load for Windows to unpark half of the cores on the i9-7940x.

At this point on the Threadripper 1950x + Windows 10, I would've been at 100% CPU on all 32 cores. Note, these are the exact same settings. I have now tested my theory on 4 CPUs with the exact same settings on Windows 7 vs Windows 10.

You can take away what you want from this data, but analyzing the threads, my ultimate conclusion is that Windows 7 allows this add on to more freely (and less securely) access the kernel files that it needs to process data, whereas Windows 10 forces it to be more resource-intensive as a trade off for being "more secure".

All in all, it was absolutely worth paying $500 more to be able to run Link Extractor on Windows 7.

Over an hour later. TR1950x + Windows 10 would've been forced to stop both instances long long ago, as all 32 cores would be at 100% CPU usage. Windows 7 = consistent, predictable CPU usage, great results, no worrying about running at 100% CPU overnight.

For comparison, this was the TR1950x + Windows 10 after only 45 minutes of running, at the exact same settings:
9xMqG2I

After that happened. I switched to 1 single instance at 200 threads, and after 1 hour, the CPU spiked to 100%, with again - 1 single instance and only 200 threads. That was the final straw for me.

Auto backlinks is safe for site ? will you give guarantee for penalty ?

Scrapebox has a million uses besides "auto backlinks". It's an essential tool for SEO no matter if you're whitehat, greyhat or blackhat. I don't think anyone would recommend sending auto-approved blog comments directly at your money site in 2018. Although you never know, I have friends who do the wildest things and somehow still get results (but I am NOT recommending doing this until you're at a very advanced level).

Glad you got it sorted. That was quite a trek.

Ive never heard of someone getting penalized as in a manual google penalty from using scrapebox links. That said, the word Guarantee and SEO or Links do not ever belong in the same sentance, unless your saying that whatever is true today is guaranteed to change in the future.

So in other words, No. But like mentioned above, link buliding is like .0001% of what scrapebox can do.

Any tip for proxies for scraping YP?

Thanks!
Find a proxy provider that offers proxies from the same geographic location of the yellow pages you want to scrape. So if you want to scrape yellow pages AU then get AU proxies, etc...

Also you can build a custom test to test your proxies against yellow pages, which is super helpful

Finally got scapebox , please approve my license , Transaction ID 454998913F8087919 , Thanks

Order placed for YP scraper. Wiating for the license. :D

@loopline

Could you ask about making the 'auto proxy load' for the scraper to be able to load a proxy list sooner than the minimum 5 minutes? That limitation is a such a pain.

If you have right to transfer the license for free, why would you pay for it bro?
Because if I can pay $10 to save 2 hours of my time it’s worth it .

Plus after I pay I would send an email clearly explaining what happened and my PayPal transaction ID and wait for the refund .

Well that limitation is put there for a reason, it used to be wide open and that caused way more issues.

If we are talking about the same feature, then when it loads proxies its deleting old proxies, so if you load new proxies from file every minute or something then your just changing proxies literally every minute. I mean 5 mins is a pretty low number as it is, at least for any realistic use case I can think of.

So basically it caused more issues when it wasn't limited, so I will ask them but its not likely to change

Auto load and append to proxies already loaded, let scrapebox sort out the bad ones as it finds them. Would be cool.

As of the next version they are going to change it to 1 minute.

However I have no eta.

nevermind, i managed to download my history and get the transaction id needed to activate. just sent it

Hi,

I am using the built-in email scraper. It does the job well. However, is there a possibility to export results with the same order I uploaded them?

Meaning if no email is found, the software will export the URL and leave its email field blank or state "No emails found" message.
If many emails were found for a certain domain/URL, they can be exported in the same line with a separator.

I hope that's clear enough.

Thank you,

Glad you sorted it.

Well you can not leave blank ulrs nor can you put multiple emails on the same line.

But you can save each url with its respective email, and thus do post processing/sorting in excel or however.

As for the other urls, you can put your original url list in the harvester grid in scrapebox (upper right) and then take your list of urls that have emails found and save that found urls to a text file, for example found.txt

Then in scrapbox go to import >> import and compare urls on domain level - and then select that found.txt file.

Then scrapebox will remove any domains that had an email from the loaded list. So you are left with domains that did not have an email. If you need to do it on a url level instead of domain that option is right in that same import >> import and compare url list.

Hi @loopline,

Do you have any tips to avoid getting ERROR in index-checking? I got a bunch of fresh dedicated proxies last week, but still got the ERROR message when check the indexing. 30 proxies with 5s Delay but still have the issue.

error means the ip is banned. Build a custom test for

info:domain.com

style of search and test your proxies against that. That is the format scrapebox is using.
