Hello, I have woocommerce general dropshipping store and I found out that I get hell lot of guest abandoned carts.

I have abandoned cart plugin, but it is not possible to send emails if they are not typed in email... I have turned on force registration option, nothing helps. I'm thinking on making social login option, maybe they are lazy to fill up all details on buying.

What is your thoughts on this?

With machete!
But actually I suggest to install something like hotjar and check for video records of the visits, maybe there's something preventing users from checkout.

Another thing you can do is to send them a message if you got their details (they can abandon cart after they type email or register)

Depending on the situation - it is, sometimes you can see that on the video.

Do you offer a secure encrypted connection?
Do you offer a variety of payment methods? (Creditcard, PayPal, etc)
Didnyou make the checkout proces as short and simple as it could be? The more info you require the higher the abandon rate.

And if you have everything in place, have you thought about re-targeting them with display ads using google or Adroll?

Yes I have encrypted connection.
For now I only have paypal, I had stripe, but they closed my account, saying that I sell cell phones and they are getting lot of refunds for cell phones. I explained them that I can take out cell phones, but this did not helped, I tried other payment system for cards, but they did not approved my, I know that this may be a problem, but from my understanding in 2018, basically everybody have paypal.
Checkout it is not simple, as it is default options in woocommerce.

Can you explain last question?

If you use PayPal as your only payment solution, then that’s probably your problem!
Have a look at all the big ecommerce sites. They accept many different payment methods. You got to facilitate the customer.
I have a paypal account, but rarely use it. I prefer credit or debit cards. If you offer a product which i can find somewhere else at more or less the same price, I will abandon your cart.
Only if you have a unique product that i couldn't buy anywhere else, i would use paypal.

My question in regards to retargeting is about finding those users on the web and reengage with them.
The ads will show the exact product they have placed in their basket and are therefore highly relevant to the user. Great way to drive users back to your site and get them to convert. But i would not start with retargeting campaigns until you have the payment solutions sorted.

Best of luck!

What stripe alternatives you suggest? Most of them asks for VAT numbers, I don't really understand why paypal is not asking.
