so i just started to advertise my store on fb ads free shipping included, and a few days later i got some comments on my ads post accusing my store of bootleg and no legit business would offer free shipping.

i really dont understand people. They look and want alternatives but then claim it as a scam. at this point i wonder
if it just will work better if i advertise my product without any benefits. just showing the product image and a link to buy and thats it.

instead of attracting people with benefits such as free shipping and discounts its doing the exact opposite effect right now.
what do you guys think about this? am i doing something wrong?

also my post has many likes and shares

It's part fault of black hat marketers and part consumer behavior. So many people have offered low quality products using "discounts" and "free + shipping" that many people associate discounted products with scams. On the other side, consumers often have the mindset that high price = high value. If it's the best you essentially have to pay for that, or so they think. That's why these overpriced brands selling cheap China products stay in business.

My advice is to make money by building your brand rather than offering stuff for cheap or with benefits

You need to do split-A/B testing whenever running Ads.
Try an ad that doesn't mention shipping, see if it changes anything.
Keep testing and optimizing.
