Woes of hosting Porn- Help

Hello everyone, I have been going around circles trying to figure out what would be the best solution to my predicament.

Here's the situation, I have shot a few Adult videos with a model. I have the signed model release form as well as contract which gives me all the rights to the videos, to use it however I want, either commercially or not. I have had no problems promoting the material, until one day I got a message that the porn was taken down from several free sites. I did some digging (since the model and I aren't in contact anymore), and it was her boyfriend who has been taking the porn down through DMCA. It is very annoying to have to find a place where I can re-upload as the porn helped promote my AV shop on a third party site.

I thought of hosting the porn on my own site but, streaming 2gb worth of video material seems to be quite expensive as many web host providers would say having dedicated servers is the best option. It is not a viable option for me right now. So, I was wondering, are there any file sharing hosts that are DMCA ignore? Or a file hosting site that is DMCA ignore? That way I can just embed it into my site.

Or are there anyone with a site that would be able to help me out and host the videos on your site (and embed it to mine, if it's a possibility?)

I'm planning to share the video and also allow people to view it. If I were to use Google Drive, wouldn't it be easy for the boyfriend to simply 'report' the content even though I have the rights to it? From the quick search about "Google drive and DMCA", someone's account was suspended because another person reported the guy's own uploaded videos of his own piano covers...and even if he did get his account back, the hassle of getting an account back is just too much.

ah, if i had my server farm i would have helped you out until you got back on your feet but yeah..offshore hosting is what you need to search for and forget about any hosting in the e.u., u.s., a.u. , c.a...go straight for asian hosting companies...just make sure you back your files in the event they switch off and make it clear to them what you want to host.

edit. You should also take a look at russian hosting, they do some crazy sh1t out there

if you have the contract release forms them i cant see why there should be issue as you can prove you own the rights to them.

Already looked into that, just that I've asked some web hosting services here, and they told me to get a dedicated server which is too expensive for my budget. Others on the forum told me that I should be able to find a VPS with enough capacity for my needs on the marketplace.

Thanks for the thought Yes, been looking into offshore hosting, I've been looking primarily in EU hosting (Poland/Ukraine), Russia. But I never thought of Asian hosting companies, any that you can suggest? I don't think I'd get a hosting company from Singapore, because that country abides to rules to a T.

I saw the link, it seems to be telling me about other hosting services from IR hosting or HostPlay, so you're saying that you've used one of these companies that the site reviewed or? I found your reply a little confusing

Offshore seems to be the simple answer, if your own VPS is not a workable solution. If a US host ignores DMCA, great, but what if the content owner moves to stage two and goes after the host provider?

Yes there are hosting that ignore DMCA, search for places such as Iceland and Denmark, search here in the forum the privacy hosts and you will find them cheers.

Well it got my content taken off loads of sites, even ones like Manyvids and Youporn. So clearly it is having some effect.

I'm pretty sure the guy who is causing all this trouble won't be taking any real legal action if I have it on a site that ignores DMCA, so I just need to find something affordable that works.

Are they expensive? That's the other concern. Some services I wrote to said they'd charge up to $200 a month. That's too steep.

When I did erotica, I often had boyfriend's of models coming after stuff. First off, are you being notified of the DMCA? Just counter-claim if so, if not, contact the sites and find out why. That's your best bet.

Sounds like you need to find the right people with the right emails...but that takes time as its a huge chunk of change involved..but definitely look at the various other pre mention uploaders and look into the asian market, either way this predicament you are in will not end and as always it will end up as a cat n mouse game of upload - takedowns...you may want to seek some legal advise seeing that the individual has authorized release of content. Its a common occurrence that people want to withdraw from release content contracts as most of the times they are offered more money. But hey...once its signed and has a start and ending date then there isnt much they can do about it.
