Need Advice on choosing a niche.

Hey everyone,

So I plan on starting a new website and monetize it with affiliate programs (amazon) however I am torn between niches.
The first is highly competitive however I am an expert (not to brag) the other is less competitive however I dont know nearly as much.
Which one would you recommend or should I just double down/go big or go home and do both.

to me that bizzar advice, kw research for a good niche mean money.

i build website around niche and afflicate possable income , on convesion.

everythink in my eyes is niche related.

my seo is based of niche related keywords .

According to me go with easy kw on both of the niches. And see which one is growing fast. The tough competition one will take time but your expert tone article will make it last longer.

It depends from your strategy, budget and the difference for each of them. If you don't have strategy for each niche. I would start with this part.
For example if you main idea is to attract organic traffic it's smart to try make a keywords research and to try to find as many as possible relevant long-tail keywords. Maybe due to the volume of the niche you will find the ability to easily attract traffic for some keys without investing sky-high funds. I always prefer to generate under these keys at least 10-20 ideas for articles or blog posts. If you feel that it turns out. Then that's a way and a more interesting niche to choose and avoid competition. More often than not, niches with a lot of competition contains more traffic and money, that's why even a small piece of cake can be profitable than whole cake in another niche. And even will cost you cheaper.

But's that's maybe not your case. The main idea is you need to notice criteria's for yourself and understand your strategy how exactly you want to bring audience and to monetize it. Also I would recommend to try to anticipate the trend. For example, if that second niche is not a competitive but according to your feelings will very popular soon. Then it can be a great strategy to go in there before it happened. For example, a niche with products like smart-voice speakers (Amazon Echo). We started to prepare the site and content. Before they were released.
