Does Zerobounce verify honey pots ?

Hi guys,

I have a big emails lists over 3000 and i would like to verify if the emails are valid and clean it from any spam traps or honey pots

That been said, i found Zerobounce and heard that it's good but can anyone confirm to me that it verifies the honey pots ?

If not, can you recommand any other services (email verifiers) online ?

Zerobounce is good for bounces but not great at removing spamtraps really. You would need to use Verifications.io or Impressionwise.

Thank you very much Gloria for your answer. Indeed the solutions that you've showed me seems very intresting and dedicated towards verifying spam traps.

However, aside from spamtraps do they verify the email addresses better than zerobounce ?

Also, did you have any experience with any of them ?

Which one do you recommand more in verifying spamtraps, which one is the best of the two ?

I find that verification companies are better at one thing or another usually. For spamtraps Verifications.io is currently the best. Impressionwise one of main guys left. Neither remove bounces as good as Zerobounce.


What you can do is upload a list to Verifications.io first and that will remove duplicates, syntax errors, and many bounces. Then run good file on Zerobounce. More work but very good.

Yeah you are probably right, even if it costs more but it's way more efficient this way and i'm sure to have a the purest and cleanest list possible.

Hey, not sure if any verifier can catch honey pots and spam traps.

Email validation services cannot guarantee to find all honeypots in your email lists. The nature of honeypots is that they are not detectable. No one can claim it can detect all honeypots available on a list.
