Ask to take a year out .
Sabbaticals exist especially for mental health, go part time e.t.c

Complete your education, its important part of life. Dont trust those FB post saying all rich people are college dropout.
thanks for the advice but I really don't believe that the college worth the struggle i went through demrdepres a lot of times because of it and i dont belive them im trying to sell them my stuff lol i know that they all mretepr to be im gurus well thank you for the advice

Exactly those guys are dropouts of college like Harvard.. one can just dream about being there. Harvard dropout and dropout from a local institute are not on same scale. And those people were already set for life they had a fixed goal and knew what to do. Mark generated over 20M$ in raising funds right after dropping out of college, you think you guys even compare? College is important unless you have a 1k per day method you want to expand and feel college is a burden then only consider this option.

it doesn't matter what college you went it's about the skills that you have i know that lige aint that easy but I refuse to spend my time sitting in a chair listining to a boring old man that hates his job and my destiny would depend on a piece of paper i relltr love learning new things my whole programming skills are developed from watching youYouT videos so i belive that college won't do absolutely nothing to me and thanks for the reply

For god's sake, you should not drop out of college.

@IMKage is right.

If you dont have a proven method in your hand right now, then you are just day dreaming, get some balls.

You don't have to be this or that OP. Go back to college and build your online business as you go. I have a buddy who got his
computer science degree and built several 6 figure business' while doing it. There's time for both!

Salam bro, don't dropout and choose to do both

Bro as im from morocco, you know its similar to Algeria, College is free! so my advice is Keep studying, ain't gonna make u lose something , in fact it may help you raise some money for your programming agency and so on, use ur mind

Looks like those Rich Gurus in fb , really brainwashed you, do you know what u r saying?
You know that in Algeria, The gov made a statement that you are not allowed to spend more than 1k $ a Year in INTERNET? You know that??? You can't ** make a pen in Algeria, its so strict!!
Also you know that students in america dropout of college because they don't have money or afraid to be in debt for years, thats the reason! In Algeria its free and u still wanna dropout ? smh

So why drop out NOW? why don't you just finish it and work on IM on the side? You could apply all the stuff you learn and work on some own portfolio projects etc. which will make it easier to get accepted.

Nobody will hire you because you state I know more. People on these sites look at
a) Price (most are cheap)
b) Skills, which would be previous projects (if you can share) and otherwise your portfolio. Without that, it will be hard, and before you know 1-2 years passed and you may still be struggling when you could have just completed your degree.

Either way, good luck!

50$ ain't gonna do anything lol
That's why you need to have some financial backup. More like 5000$..
im struggling to get accepted in freelance jobs
That's your next problem. You can't sell yourself, how are you supposed to sell your programming skills? You need to learn and adapt and that alone can take several years.

Sorry bro, not going to happen. Not with 50 $ and no sales skills.

Your in your 2nd year, why would you drop out now? I mean i could understand it if you already made a lot of money (above 100$ a day) but you are making none, its literally suicide if you drop out now.

Probably an unwise move OP. Finish your course and graduate.
You can still do IM in your spare time.

I think you misunderstood.. absolutely college doesn't matters when talking about being successful, what i'm trying to imply is that they had already accomplished a big deal to get into a college like harvard.. i dont think anyone would have stayed jobless after graduating from there.. you may say they were already on a path to success. Even if they decided to not drop out they would have still been multi millionares.
Basically speaking buddy, they were already quite successful they found a method and they felt to expand it instead of wasting time in college.

Even if their projects failed somehow, a guy who got into harvard would have been successful in life anyways, they had no reason to look back.
For someone who dont have such high talent as these guys need to have a "PLAN B". That backup plan can easily be your college degree.

Even though its your life and you should do what ya want but at least have a backup - what if you fail. Nonetheless dropping out even with a objective seems like firing a arrow in the dark and praying to god it hits the target.

Well said. I think OP already made his choice but its his choice and his life. If he thinks he is capable of archiving his dreams and goals then i respect him and that he goes for it.
Let me just add one last quote from Confucius
" Success depends upon previous preparation, and without such preparation there is sure to be failure. "

I am studying computer science too, and I am in the 2nd year too! I started doing CPA and I have some plans on how I will continue if it sucess. I sometimes think to quit my university too, but I believe it dont worth the risk. I can do both for now( I think so), so I suggest you to try the same. Do both and when you will be 100% sure that it will work, and this will have a future then do it.

As a HS dropout with many 6 figure years under my belt, IM takes equal parts luck, skill, and connections to make it. Would i go back and finish high school and go to college if i could? Hell no. I would most likely not be on the path i am on.

A degree is not going to make or break what you do online, but you're just as likely to fail either way. At least your degree is a fallback if things don't work out, or a temporary solution in getting an offline job until it does. How quitting will impact your future is a toss up, but definitely start your IM journey ASAP because navigating the obstacles and figuring out what works and failing is all part of the game, and its definitely experiences you should be having sooner than later.

Finish your school, it's an important part of your life.

I would say, start with free or very low paying jobs so you can ask people to rate you. Gain as much ratings as possible and keep applying for paid jobs on freelancing portals. And still keep on doing free/low paying jobs so that you will keep on gaining ratings. Doesn't mean you're offering free service on upwork or other freelancing portals. You can do that on forums and ask people to rate you there which is fair I guess.

AND don't quit your college. its of utmost relevance.
