How to find bad backlinks

I have only one website on APK niche. Due to lack of knowledge about SEO and backlinks i will make tons of backlinks. In start, it really helps me and my keyword rank in first page. But after some days my all keywords gone not even on 5th page. And my friend told me that you have too much spammy backlinks that's why you face this problem. I don't have any tool like ahrefs and any other. To check which backlink is good which is bad. I disaow some backlinks. But please anyone tell me how to check and removes backlinks from any free tool. Or manually? please. I also don't know which backlinks are bad and which is good kindly explain a little bit which links helps me if I remove them.

You can use SEO Sypglass - Part of the SEO powersuite to get a massive list of your backlinks and then use the built in "Penalty risk" factor.

SEO Powersuite costs, but the free version is still perfect for your needs.

If you dont see any, it may be that none of the links were indexed, hence the lower than expected rankings.

Semrush or ahrefs is the better option. You can use chrome extension of semrush and when you login to Google WMT, it will show rating of your links in google search console.

You need paid seo tools for this like Semrush, SEO profiler, Spy glass, but if you don't want to go for paid ones you can do it manually there are many free tools and website where you can check bad Backlink once you find all bad Backlink, you can completely disavow them through search engine console. You just have to look for disavow tools and disavow them.

There are some free tools which help to find out backlinks for your websites. Tools give you some metrics about links. You have to understand metrics and what is quality backlink and bad backlinks.

You can't rely on tools 100%. You have to put your own judgement to figure out good backlinks.
