my post may help a lot of you, read through it:
i created 25 instagram pages using this method.
only four of them worked okay, 3 of which, got hit with a phone verification request that i managed to verify using my phone number.
the other accounts got hit with a phone verification problem which i couldn't verify with the same number. no text messages were sent to me anymore. i can't follow others using those accounts either. i just can't do anything. then the phone verification page doesn't go away. so the pages are basically dead. i open them, the phone verification request shows up, and i can't do anything with the page anymore.
i used the same password on all the accounts
i used the same username for all the accounts with an incremental number added to the end of each account, like account1, account2, etc.
i used a single gmail address for all the accounts, i didn't use the dot trick, instead, i used the + trick. the + trick works like this: exampleAddress+(anything after the + including the + itself don't count)@gmail.com. so you can go like this:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
all of the gmails above have the same inbox as [email protected].
however
with the dot trick, you add a . in between the letters like this:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
so all the "six" gmail addresses above, have the same inbox as [email protected].
i actually confirmed the emails of two of the instagram accounts, (once before and once after starting to follow others with the account) which didn't solve the phone verification problem, neither did it allow me to follow others.
so hours of struggle went to waste...
i didn't use a proxy.
one user here suggested something about setting the timezone right, maybe i'll see if it works. but i'm tired for now, took me a long time to create those accounts just to lose them all at once.
Question: On another platform that i need to create accts on. A confirmation email is sent with a "confirm email" button. Would i have to clear browser cookies for each new acct in addition to the other steps?
