HOW TO BE ANONYMOUS

hey guys,

how can you be fully anonymous?
because of the new data law, it is not that easy to look up the WHOIS information- and even if it was, we could use WHOIS Protect.
then you could use offshore hosting. places like romania dont really want to cooperate with the government...
if you dont want the people to know your hosting service, you could use services like cloudflare.

now youre mostly safe, imo. (if you don´t do to much bad things. in places like germany, you get sued for almost everything. using a wrong image, embedding youtube wrongly, forgetting to put a special sentence/disclaimer in your contact forumla... and its getting more worse)

but there is one thing thats critical- we all have got websites to make money from. people can still see your amazon affiliate ID , or other affiliate IDs. and if people really have got a problem with you, they maybe can contact amazon or other services to know your persona.

so how can you avoid getting spotted because of your affiliate ID?

Hiding your affiliate id isn't that tough i guess, you can always use cloaking and url masking. If you're really worried of getting your affiliate id disclosed, you could open amazon window in an iframe instead of a full redirect. Just my 2 cents.

thank you - but i can cloak just on my page , for example: mypage.com/affiliatecloak
if i click on the link i get redirected, then i see the normal amazon affiliate link and my amazon ID. but i dont want to see my affiliate ID. how can i hide it? @proxified
and thinking about your username, is it necessary to use proxies if I use all my different ways to be anonymous (offshore, whois privacy, cloudflare) ?

i was into web proxies 10 years back when i kept that username. lol. I already answered that you can use url masking and iframes to hide your affiliate id from the url. proxies are not required to keep your identity hidden in your case. they're required for many other things though.

There is no way to stay 100% anonymous, if a government organisation (law enforcement or whatever) or someone with money and knowledge wants to get to know you, sooner or later they will.

There are certain things you can do to try to make it as hard as possible, so that most amatuers and non-government organisations will give up. This include hosting somewhere in russia or asia, whois protection for your domain, never using your real name etc.

There is a saying: If you want to track someone down, just follow the money.

Its a dirty game nowadays, companies make it possible for jealous people to mess with you. Go buy a fresh laptop, then go and get a prepaid credit card. Then go to a hotsopt and create your accounts and build from that hotspot only. As a BH, you have a lot to learn.
