Does PayPal log IP-Adresses?

If i create a second account with different info after one was banned, can PayPal log my IP adress and see that the 2 Accounts are connected?

They do log ip-Adresses but not for type of reasons you have mentioned. So good news, YOU ARE SAFE! LoL

Go to cafe and create account. Problem solved. Just make sure other info does not connect you with old account.

But if i log in at home wont they see that? I dont want to walk to a cafe everytime i use PayPal.
Do you think a vps will work? Its different IP after all...

It is possible to have multiple PP accounts from same IP, for instance many people can share the same IP.

But in your case you were banned, which is obviously a bad start. So they may or may not detect you again, and same IP is a red flag in your case I would think.

Can you change IP?

Use a VPN if you are so concerned.

PayPal Saved your IP address which are previously band. One of my friend getting this problem. After band when goes to PayPal site its shows 'you can't use PayPal'. if its now showing to you, after some transaction your account can be limit. So don't take risk

Of course, the simplest thing to track to find suspicious accounts

Ofcourse PayPal logs your IP and not only that, they also log your browser, operating system, browser language, browser width/height (screen resoluation) and god knows what else...

A VPS might work but I can't ive you an absolute answer how long it will work... if you are lucky you won't get into any big problem.

That is a stupid question, to be honest and transparent with you. Of course Paypal log IP Addresses, how you can ask something like that? They need to log all user activity, to help in cases of legal, court orders and fraud etc. Of course all your information (IP, Hostname, time, hours is all logged and stored)

Yes they can detect you are using two accounts, is not hard. If you are using the same IP, they only need to run a simple script to detect multiple accounts with same IP, like BHW have in Admin Panel.

Sorry messed my question up. My Account is LIMITED not banned. Do you think they will still limit any other account through my IP?

The IP is only the gateway. Meaning that if there is a huge office building with the same router, they all have the same IP. That way they cant just ban any account created through that ip. Or am i wrong?

Lots of offices/campuses and other such networks share IP addresses, so it's very hard to connect two accounts on the IP level. To be safe, I would use different browsers though, never know what cookies they're setting on your browser, it could give you away.
