Is really worth using Hashtags on Instagram?

According to my experience, when i don't use hashtags and check analytics on my posts, i note that i also get views from the explore page, but when i use hashtags i see a a lot more of impressions thx to them but i think that's due to botting from others (suddenly the voice that says the number of views from the explore disappears)

What do you think guys? What's your experience? How to have an effective organic growth?

I'm asking this 'cause i saw a thread here (i don't remember the op) where this guy posted only funny screenshots from twitter and growed very fast without hashtags, i saw it recently and now has over 2MIL followers ( If someone remember the thread please link it )

Well i guess it can help to get on explore page for that specific hashtag. i guess its just important that you dont use some general stuff like "likeforlike"

It's important yes, hashtags give you more visibility as long as you use them effectively

I use the tool from influencer marketing hub, i don't know if i can link but just search on google
I use very targeted hashtags, the fact is that i want to stay active in my country 'cause i want to sell t-shirts in future and the handle will be easy (i don't want to affiliate with platforms like teesprings)
Also, i live in Italy and delivery to the rest of the world are very expensive

Hashtags are very complex, it's all about the type of hashtags you use

If you use a hashtag such as #outfit with 71M+ posts, it's gonna be tough to rank but if you use something like #outfittoday or #outfitnewyork you're going to increase chances of ranking.

It's also recommended that you change up the sets of hashtags you use by at least 50% per post and have some photo niche related hashtags added on as well to look organic and real, Instagram obviously likes real/organic users over a account that's automated.

Anyways I would recommend using hashtags it's an excellent growth tool, especially if you do some hashtag research and find some good not soo saturated hashtags that have potential, or even if you're fan base is big enough make your own hashtag!

I already launched my hashtag and i use it on every post, sometimes alone The hashtag i launched (has the same name of my profile) now reached the 5000 posts and, as you can see, only 300 posts are mine. You talk about switch the hashtag set by 50%, it's the same if i alternate one post with 30 hashtags and the other using only mine? I care a lot to this profile 'cause has a very good engagement, but i'm a little angry because also if a i reach the 900 likes with 6000 followers, the account doesn't want to take off

Yes,

Switching hashtags is important for growing an account, but you have to be strategic on the hashtags you do use.

And 5000 posts ads for your hashtag is very nice, it's defiantly hard starting a hashtag depending on your audience size but if you can avg 2 posts a day you're going in the right direction

If you really care about organic growth on your account, you must care enough to put in the work post Stories, Geo Tagging Posts, Replying to comments within 60mins of post going live, liking comments, commenting on other posts which is a big one if done correctly.

They are not magic bullets, but definitely a tool in your arsenal.

-- Switch them up, use them creatively.

-- Try to go for niche hashtags, not massive ones like #freedom #love #fitness etc

-- Create your own hashtags if you have enough weight to throw around - also to link your posts together (i.e. like a blog's articles)

-- Hop on hashtag trends to capitalize on recent surges in traffic

-- Put some in your caption, and some in your comment

-- Don't rely on them for exposure but think of them as a cherry on top
