Alright, I just placed an order for an Amazon backlink. I'll be providing the seller with a URL that currently ranks on the 2nd page for it's target keywords. I haven't had any link building done to this URL for about 6 weeks now. Once the seller provides me with the backlink, I'll watch for any SERP increases. I'll update everyone when I first see the link up, and then whether or not there are any SERP movements weeks after.

Initial Review:

Two days ago the seller followed up with a successfully created backlink on Amazon. For clarification, the backlink appears on a page as follows:
https://www.amazon.com/xx-xxx-xx-xxx-xxx-xx/xxx-xxx-xx

So yes, your backlink will appear on Amazon's main domain, not on any subdomain.

More importantly, this isn't a backlink service where the seller simply knows the right page to spam, but it's actually a service where the seller needs to place reasonable effort to have your backlink appear on Amazon's platform. More importantly, this page is manually approved by Amazon, so we can at least be rest assured that it follows their TOS for the time being. Lastly, my link is the only outgoing link on the page, and the seller has made sure to include content on the page that relates to the page that I'm building the link for.

As it stands right now, the page is not yet indexed, so I will wait on that. Once it is, I'll begin to monitor any rank changes and keep you guys updated.

Update Review:

Since it has been 11 days since my initial review, I would like to add that so far, the page has yet to be indexed. I'm not alarmed since there is no "no-index" tag on the page, so there isn't a reason for why Google wouldn't index it. In addition, I haven't taken any extra steps to speed up the process of indexing. Hopefully in the next two weeks the URL will finally be indexed. I'll keep everyone updated.
