I think there is a clear difference here - on BHW we are a community and we are here to help each other out. Reporting any post on BHW that breaks the rules is helping the community - helping to make the job easier for the staff, helping to keep other members safe from being scammed and helping yourself in the same light.

If you report other amazon sellers you are not really providing any benefit to your direct community but rather you are doing so purely for self gain.

Once again I am not making a judgement as to whether that is fundamentally right or wrong (And there isn't anything wrong with self gain) but I am just saying the two things you are comparing are not the same.

Calm down. You get offended too easily - like I said, I am not making a judgement here, just stating my opinion. The same as everyone else - just because you think something is justified, it doesnt mean others have to agree with you - surely everyone else is entitled to their opinion as well as you to yours?

Besides, just because someone else doesnt agree with something, it doesnt mean its wrong - dont want to get into morals and right and wrong here, but everyone has their own rules they have to follow, so as long as you are following your own rules, thats fine.

That’s fine. You can make choices for yourself. However, you put this out on a public forum and asked the thoughts of others.

Myself and a few others gave our thoughts. We clearly differ on the approach.

While it's true that some dubious members here jump on the "Let's bully @tunescool bandwaggon" - It is also true that you have a reputation for ignoring very valid advice. It is a well earned reputation and is the reason why long-standing members have given up trying to help you.

I'm inspired, though. In fact, I just discovered a network of sites that are not only using a Barnes and Noble trademarked logo, with no trademark symbol, without their permission, but is also using their copyrighted name (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/h/copyright-policy/trademarks) without their consent on several websites.

These sites are also breaking Amazon terms of service for affiliates.

The point of SEO isn't to take down your competitors, rather to outrank them.
If you outrank them, that means you are earning more than they are but they still have a business. If you take them down, they no longer have a business.

Destroying somebody else's livelihood is something I wouldn't consider doing no matter how much greater I believe my needs are. If somebody tried to destroy my business I would go after them with all and any means possible. Something you might want to think about when destroying your competition.

Maybe the reasoning for doing so is different but the outcome is the same.
Seller on here can't afford to pay for BST, gets reported, gets account banned, can't sell service, can't make money.
Amazon affiliate can't make profit through WH so has to go BH, gets reported, banned, can't make money.

Strange, that sounds just like the site in the same as a site in my (golf) niche, with a webmaster who seems to have a strange fixation with young children.
