Google's Submit URL tool not working last couple days ?

It's not working at all. I'm also faced the same issue in the past

tragically this is gonna screw things up for many small businesses trying to get new product pages indexed before anyone else so they can get to the top. i despise google!

This really sucks. There was someone on Facebook claiming to have a solution and the guys behind Ghost Indexer claimed to have a solution too. I truly doubt Ghost Indexer has figured out a solution so please don't take this as me promoting them. I'm just saying that at least two people are claiming there is another way.

I'm going to try social signals + sitemaps + improved content and see if that will work.

There has to be a way. I have noticed that my on-page changes are getting picked up a lot faster. I added some product schema to a website and the stars appeared the next day (previously was taking several days).

Anyway, I hope someone finds a solution, automates, and then offers it as a service.

Is url submit still not indexing? I tried a few days ago and no luck?

I didn't work for me - I was using Microsoft Edge browser. Switched to Chrome and it worked. Might have been a coincidence - but my overall experience with Edge is "Why.. why is this crap a thing - why does this exist?" :)

how does it work for you.. please share
It's working as it previously did using the original console and Google Chrome. However, as the frequency has changed, I only index on weekends. Here is my render from today. Due to the limitations, I've reached my max for crawling the link I submitted (a homepage) and its direct links:
todays fetch attempt.PNG

Limitations:
  • Crawl only this URL submits only the selected URL to the Google for re-crawling. You can submit up to 10 individual URLs per day.
  • Select & Crawl this URL and its direct links to submit the URL as well as all the other pages that URL links to directly for re-crawling. You can submit up to 2 of these site recrawl requests per day.

Google console allows me to submit crawl requests for pages and I can submit URL's via google search but as above, both have limitations. I am finding it takes 3-5 days for new pages to be indexed using either of the methods and I my sitemaps are barely increasing with indexed pages.

I saw a post about a Youtube method to index new pages/posts but I have not tried that yet.

Anyone having issues with this again over this last week ? I haven't really submitted many URL in the last month but a few weeks ago I did a few and it seemed to be working as normal again. But a couple days ago I tried submitting a few more URLS and nothing at all, and still nothing 2.5 days in.

It works for me, but my pages get indexed after 24 hours or so

its working good for me. I have submitted my page few hours before and it is indexed now

They seem to have eased the limits because it seems to be working, or at least working slightly better than it was previously.

Hmm what could be the problem for me then. https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url

For the last week plus nothing has been getting indexed I submit, I have tried it across multiple gmail accounts which include different page urls from different web2.0s, ect. Why would nothing be indexing ?

It was back to business as usual all last week up until this morning. It’s now totally unpredictable. Maybe some of us who use it regularly are getting throttled?

And when I say regularly, I don’t push a ton of links. Maybe 5-8 per day at most...

kindly suggest solution for this its really hampering business as even not single url getting crwaled out of multiple urls..
