What shall I do with a Domain with high Authority Back link?

Bought a domain which has a backlink from a high authority news site. I can either 301 to money site or make few pages then link to money site.

But I read somewhere the 301 doesn't work anymore.

Not sure what shall I do with it and how can I leverage the backlink.

Does anyone know what would be the best use of that domain?

Well not that one decent link makes that domain invaluable gold. Unless the domain is exactly in your niche, then do not redirect anything. 301s work, but they are a bit more complicated.

I would either add the domain to my PBN or make a money site out of it in the same niche.

Can you rebuild it to a similar way as the original site? If so then build it as a pbn and link to your site; it’s the best way.

The issue is if there’s only 1 valuable link then you want to make all possible efforts so that the link sticks.

This is what I was thinking about as well. Will make the domain look like as it was before + add more contents with money site links in them.

Then link blast the original news site article to pass some link juices.

Don't do that. That might cause your article to get deleted and won't bring any positive movement at all.

Your domain has High Domain Authority, you can use it to launch your own website. Since it has backlinks from reputed site, it will be easier for you to rank higher in SERP. All you need is a hosting plan. Alternatively, you can also sell your domain on domain marketplace like flippa. On flippa, you will get a good price for high authority domain.
