Absolutely! been there done that! This may be ok for testing but I would not put a lot of time, effort or $$$ into a site
on a free domain or hosting. They are super slow and some free hosts will steal your sites. I'm not dissing your share

If you are on a super small budget it's fine.
But you should really get a .com once you can afford it.
I played with these freenom domains when they just came out when I was trying new methods....Made 10x more conversions with same traffic once I moved it to a .com.
Same goes for free hosting.

I know that threat, he talks about wordpress dot com (automattic) and blogspot (Google) not about tk domains. However I repeat is not a critic about you or your work, take it as suggestion coz also noobs know and avoid tk domain (but prefer blogspot subdomain instead)

Once your site is hosted why would this domain redirect?

I meant once you point your domain to your hosted site, the domain will redirect to some ads instead of the hosting it was pointed to. That's how they make money i guess.

I tried those with my Instagram + Ogads method for the landing pages. I noticed that if you visit the domain like 6 to 7 times it'll redirect to ads at least once. So the users see the ads instead of my landing page.
