You know things are looking up when the haters are checking XRP charts more often than the people that own it lol

lol
haters gonna hate, and ainters gonna aint. let them hate while we bank.

Good news ripple holders -

Another Japanese exchange will list XRP on the 11ths to Jan (4 days). they over 27 million users. [more than coinbase, in fact, 100% more than coinbase lol]
Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/japanese-dmm-crypto-exchange-launch/

More good news -
coinbases shitty (and imo false) announcement barely created a dip, price looks stable.

More good news to come :)

Cheers

This is how u properly burn a shiller.

I love @zionbar 's enthusiasm just as much as everyone else. Shit, the kid is getting so excited he can barely string a sentence together. But please, before throwing money into something, do your research. Ripple is great. The company. XRP is not. People are blindly throwing money at this because people say to blindly throw money at it. Bunch of hype men.

Only a small percentage of XRP is actually tradable/on the market. Ripple (the company) owns the rest. They are literally controlling the supply. Them doing so is hyper-inflating the value. There are almost 100 billion XRP. Less than 39 billion of them are tradable on exchanges. The company can decide when to release more. It is premined. It's not decentralized. It's not even a cryptocurrency. It's a privately-operated fiat currency.

Ripple is a company whose blockchain technology could revolutionize banking. No banks are using it, though. They are "testing", but nobody is buying in. Amazon sure as shit isn't going to buy in. But hey, let's trust a tweet from a big baller of the company in control of the inflated Ripple supply of over $70 billion. He surely has nothing to gain from leaking vague information such as this.

XRP is Ripple's coin. They hold over 60% of it themselves and have been desperately attempting to pump it into stardom for several years. It's been pumped and dumped before, on multiple occasions. XRP has a history of instability and is a sinking ship that is shiny and new and backed by a company that has promise.

XRP is one of the most unstable of the unstable altcoins. @zionbar doesn't even know who the founder of Ripple was. He's "a very honest guy I've been following for a while"? You had no clue what crypto even was six months ago. I know that probably seems like forever, right? Let's not forget that this was even before you were insistent that poor people were selfish. Good god, a guy who literally wrote "poverty rates are EXTREMELY HIGHER in poor neighborhoods vs rich neighborhoods" is now an idiot savant about a multibillion dollar currency.

Jed McCaleb is the founder of Ripple, and has been doing shady shit for years. Right now he's the head of ANOTHER completely premined, fully company-controlled coin (Stellar). Before that he created Mt. Gox. That worked out well. Ripple is an overhyped piece of shit talked up by overhyped pieces of shit. It is the super hot pump and dump right now. A lot of people are making a lot of fake money because they are refusing to sell. Yes, I have strong anti-crypto feelings, but goddamn, XRP is the shittiest of guttersluts in the cryptocurrency world.

And it's being peddled by thousands of little zionbars. Magical crypto gurus who didn't know where the fuck to start six months back.

I'm done spouting about how most altcoins are pump and dumps backed by nothing but ideas and empty promises. This should be evident by now. But Ripple is the biggest one of all, and when it goes down in flames, this is the one event I will be standing on the sidelines laughing my ass off about. It is the epitome of retards not knowing what the fuck they are doing, and trying to tease out the meaning of "a household name".

And before the classic "you're just mad because you didn't buy in", fuck off. I didn't buy in because of the reasons listed above. All of them. I'm mad because people are being taken advantage of. And they aren't even going to know it until the shit hits the fan. I'm mad because clueless fuckers are causing distrust in the concept of finance. I'm mad because all of a sudden every rich boy fuckface is suddenly an expert.

@zionbar, you're great. You're adding a lot to the conversation and getting people excited. But shit, man, you have been talking out your ass for months now.

It's funny, last year when BTC was a hype I spoke about ripple when it was at 0,18 and after researching it I explained why it had potential and all these crypto hipsters kinda told me it was BS.

Now look at them, that's why I hate these hipsters, only surfing on trends.

Didn't buy in though cause cryptos are not my thing but next time listen to ol BB :D

@zionbar, can you please use the multi-quote feature when responding to multiple posts? I had to merge many of your posts in this thread, some of which were posted minutes apart. If you don't know how to use it, there's a video here explaining it.

Thanks in advance. :)

Gotcha man no problem!

Never listen to the hipsters man :D but ripple was stuck for a long time before it shot up

You think that it is good to invest $600 in XRP now? $2.57

depends on what ur trying to do... its still over valued for now and might drop short term but i believe longer term itll go up

Where can I buy ripple? I want to buy ripple for 100$

Don't... if you have $100 get a newer crypto that might give u 1000% in a month, unlikely that ripple will grow more than 2-3X in a month and then ull have what? $200 out of $100?

LoL - yeah why bother with pesky "investments" that "only" give you a 300% return per month.

Right, I have a really serious question because I and a lot of other people are concerned because we think a lot of people are being led up the garden path here and are going to lose a lot of money.

So, Ziobar only 6 months ago listed a thread asking about crypto, what it was, and how to invest in it because he had no clue.

Now he's some kind of self proclaimed guru.

However, there are many laws in many countries regarding the dissemination of investment advice, namely that if you are not qualified and approved and you do what ziobar is doing (which ridiculously includes tweeting the POTUS about buying silly coins) then you can be:

a) fined by the relevant financial authorities;
b) get sent to prison;
c) be liable to be sued for the losses people incur by following your advice.

So, mr Zionbar - can you share your qualificiations and the authorities that you are approved by to give said financial advice, just so the people being "advised" by you know that you're legit?

I ask this because I am 100% certain he hasn't a clue about investments, and also that ripple is going all the way to zero, so just on the off chance that I'm right maybe he'd like to post his details so people know where to come knocking if they lose all of their money.

Tl;dr

Bottom line - you said a few days ago the crypto marketcap wont pass 600 billion and were all crazy.

I think u said “mathmatically impossible” lol

The marketcap is now at 725 billion, reached 800 billion and peeled back a bit but will def hit a trillion like i said soon...

U have no idea what ur talking about buddy, go find another section to bs :)

I NEVER said that at all, you're making stuff up again and trying to put words in my mouth I never said to try and make out you're right and I'm wrong.

I'll tell you what I say, since apparently I haven't been clear.

It's a big bubble - it might go up some more still, but at some point soon it's going to collapse and be worth close to or actually zero.

In the meantime hows about providing your credentials so people know who they're taking advice from.

Edit: Anyway, it looks like your ripple is turning into a tsunami of selling - like I said it would

Yet again - what are your actual credentials?

There are going to be a lot of very angry people who are going to want you to compensate them, so tell them who you are to give them financial advice.

6 months ago you yourself admitted you knew nothing - you're digging a very big hole for yourself here.

Again,
this is a really funny thread, but in a awkwardly sad kinda way.
You know, like with the weak armed kid trying to conquer the Pull rope in the Gym.
Half the Kids are laughing at him the other half trying to hide from the Gym coaches
bellowing voice and pointing finger as if it were a death ray.
"YOU, HIT THE ROPE..GO!"
I'm just talking about the Vibe of the Thread in general no one member in particular so panties be unbundled.
But I must say If nothing else the Crypto kid is rather entertaining...
ALBEIT A VERY ARTFUL DODGER AS WELL ! lol

So Yeah,
Good Luck to all you Super Uber Cryptonians..
really funny thread:D

Yeah I know," Big Money" Blah Blah Blah
"Gross Margin Return On Investment" Yada yada yada
Whatever that means, I just pulled it from a google search Like I'm sure a Lot of you..NEVERMIND:rolleyes:
But Yeah, really funny thread..Oh, and Informative to.

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING CRYPTO FOR A LONG TIME AND I DON'T THINK THAT RIPPLE WILL EVER BE AS BIG AS BITCOIN, SORRY
LOL Don't let the facts get in the way of your hatred for it.

Ripples Volume is already half of Bitcoin and it hasn't even begun.

You need to put your feelings aside if you want to make money and just be open to the facts rather than FUD.

Hippies have been trying to fell the establishment since day dot..

Banks aren't going anywhere and nor is government (in your lifetime at least)

Calm down, @zionbar. No need to lose your cool. That was a joke you clearly didn't get. If I was being completely honest though, I think by the end of 2018, XRP will be at $0.25. Most likely a sure thing, looking at the data.

And no, I'm not going to bet a paltry hundred dollars that a ton of people are going to lose their ass. That would be inhumane. You already placed your bet when you "invested" in the sinking ship hypebeast that is Ripple.

And if you are sick of my "BS", feel free to put me on your ignore list. Of course, if you do that, this useless thread will fall another 50% in quality for your viewing.

Several of your posts have boiled down to "you have your opinion I have mine". Why are you getting so upset? Is it because my opinion is something I can quantify? If you don't want to keep getting publicly torn down, I'd suggest not calling me out every time you think you have something to prove. It's getting pretty embarrassing.

Please present the data that you're looking at lol... $0.25c ????? Bahahahaha give me a break.

Clearly, you don't like it and that's all good and well but waffling adhoc with utter nonsense just makes you look like a goose.

LoLoL - how's your "Doji Star" looking now?

Zero Cents here we come, here we come, here we come, zero cents blah blah blah.

Where's a good reputable place to put on shorts against Ripple?

I'd like to fill my boots with your rapidly evapourating "profits".

LoLoL

dude you're at the 15 min chart. you're scalping. thats something else, im saying long term.
dont go technical on me cuz you'll lose , i used to trade stocks and forex I have a certification from a broker...so dont even go there buddy :)

@elavmunretea i'll give you a short tech analysis on the daily charts from what ive seen -

Theres a clearly correction and a dip (tnx coinbase, btw this shitheads did the same things before adding BCH, check me on this, its on twitter),
IMO if we break bearish today theres a bearish reversal pattern on the daily chart, called evening star look it up if you find it interesting...

Meaning - theres gonna be dips and it wont look good for ripple in the next few days, BUT if you're holding based on fundamentals (like I do) that shouldnt matter as long as we get the good news we're expecting. Thats where I stand.

EDIT - here i made a nice little graph to explain, sorry for the shitty design, did my best lol

Ripple is going to conquer the future, no doubt about it. their only competitor (imo) is IOTA but that's only if the developers can get it right. problem with IOTA is that the developers mess up with all the network congestion issues and that was huge PR issue for them. I assume they have bright future because they are targeting m2m transactions and that alone can inflate the price considering they don't need many userbase to buy the coins.

that being said, if you are looking for huge gains, you are always better off with smaller coins. Ripple made huge gains in the past one month but I doubt they can go on like this forever. I made a lot of money from TRX but i have sold all of my coins there after I made 20x of my investment. There are a lot of new altcoins to look at and they always have more room to grow as compared to the big guys such as Ripple or ETH.

Personally i'm looking forward to INS and SingularityNet. they can make huge gains within the next 3 months.

As for someone who said "you'll be down 90% from where you are now if you don't convert your theoretical gains into real money." <- this is definitely true. personally my investment strategy always involve converting 25% of my ROI back to fiat once I make 7-10x gains from my investment in small altcoins and ICOs or when I make 3x gains from my investments in top 10 coins.

Why is it true? simple. because most exchanges don't have enough liquidity when it comes to fiat. Personally I feel crypto investment is a bubble and it will crash sooner or later but this is EXACTLY WHY i jumped in. because it's a bubble. if it's a safe investment, i wouldnt bother. what's the point, really? 15-20% a year? for what

Ripple seems decent - but not necessarily for future traders. If the technology succeeds that many are aniticpating with regards to the banks (and possibly even Amazon), XRP will naturally increase significantly in value, however, by that time it would probably be too late to think of it as a pump and dump type of investment. Essentially, the big corporations who may well end up backing and using Ripple wouldn't be too keen on a coin that fluctuates with such high frequency. Imagine wanting to buy a product on Amazon using a Cryptocoin, and whilst you're adding a few items to your basket, by the time you reach checkout, who knows what the final price could be. XRP looks like a viable offering in this regard - because if and when it goes mainstream, it would have already been pumped, resulting in more stability in terms of price, for a few reasons, one of them being the huge number of coins in circulation.

That article about the founders seemed to knock investor sentiment down. The article also started a new round of FUD on various things surrounding XRP including the fact that it's a centralized coin unlike what all other coins are trying to achieve, etc. And it hit a new ATH really fast when it shot up to 3.20 or whatever it was.

TRX shot up incredibly fast too and now has given back almost 60% of it's gains as well. Some projects seem to have stronger tendency to slide back way more than others after spikes.

So glad I cashed out on Ripple. 45% off the ATH and still going. Probably a good time to buy back in soon.
