Hi guys

been trading forex in the past so I know a thing or two about trading
but I have no idea about crypto

what would be the best source to learn everything from A to Z about crypto trading?

I know I can google it (already did) the problem with google nowadays is that you get so much info and some of it is crap. Not all knowledge is power, if you dont have the right knowledge it can destroy you.

So appreciate your help :)

What most people don't understand is how ridiculously rare A full bitcoins are given that there will only ever be 21 million bitcoins. The earth population is over 7 billion, So for most people it will not be about owning one or more bitcoin, it will be about having bits or Satoshis. When bitcoin enter into its third phase, the bitcoin community will stop comparing bitcoin to the dollar, and start pricing goods and services in bits or Satoshis. When that day comes, we will be able to buy A 5000 square foot house in San Francisco or Miami, for only 10 Satoshis or A new Ferrari 458 for 5 Satoshis. And (1) bitcoin will support A family for generations. Let's not forget the true value of bits an Satoshis. "BUY & HOLD" you've been WARNED..

Your theory makes sense, unless some new way of payments will come out and make these "bitcoins" irrelevant. that what scares me the most. still i probably will get $500-1000 worth of bitcoins just to buy and hold for a year or two see what happens

The basics: https://bitcoin.org/en/getting-started

Buying https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/

Read these posts up about trading: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/

For technical stuff: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/

Look for poloniex or kraken and research these exchanges. Currently they seem to be the hot ones.

I'm learning this too, these are just links I've been looking at. If others got more pointers, that'd be grrreeeattt.

Tnx, I gotta ask you something if you trade bitcions.
It just seems like theres no logic behind not investing in it. I mean if theres a limit of bitcoins and people are obviously buying it, when will it stop? I just cant understand how come it always goes up in value in the long term. And if it does why not just take everything you own and put it on bitcoins? buy and hold for a few years, and then resell...

It's a high risk investment. If for example, Europe or the US decide to tax BTC or make registration obligatory to use it (Russia seems to be on this path), BTC value will drop a lot. We've seen it go from 1000+ to 200 dollars in a matter of weeks.

For example, anyone who bought at $1000+ had to wait years for it to rebound after the MtGox scandal. Lots of people also lost everything with MtGox and Cryptsy.

Be careful with overly optimistic predictions.

It's so fucking simple.

If people are talking about how it is a great investment you should be RUNNING, i repeat RUNNING away from any kind of investment like this.

If people are telling you how to make money, you can no longer make the same amount of money using that method than the person pedalling that method.

GURU = getting people to dig for gold while they sell the shovels.

So fucking simple.

Probably the best advice you will ever receive BUT you probably wont listen because it does not confirm your pre existing notions of how to succeed.

What do you think about buying lets say 5K of BTC and just holding it for a few years?

Some people say BTC will be worth 250k by 2020.

Others say banks will roll out their own cryptos and BTC will be screwed.

Who knows?

Would have been a nice investment putting 5k into BTC a couple years ago, you'd have almost 100k now. But past history does not guarantee future profits.

Something I was also thinking about but you put it nicely in to words.

however, if you look at the trend over the entire existence of bitcoin, we can conclude

What an indiscriminately ineffective argument.

Study this and say again
