Real Update on the Verification Loop

For those of you who were not up to date recently, regarding the Instagram verification loop, here's a short summary of what happened:

It's very likely that Instagram did indeed test a new anti spam system – however the fact that a large number of regular users were also having the same issue, makes that questionable.

This issue has already been fixed by some of the automation platforms out there. It's very likely that other issues may come up, but for now we recommend to connect your accounts as soon as possible to store the session, in case something similar happens again.

A few facts:

• The team on GitHub has been actively trying to scare people, simply because they have worked for free on the library, while some platforms have used it to monetize.
• The same team on GitHub has released an 'official statement' (really, haha) in which they tried to spread even more misinformation regarding the state of automation. In that 1600 words-essay, they've only repeated the same idea over and over again and didn't bring any proof or proven facts to the case. More so, they've locked the thread (and the previous one) and didn't allow any comments on this topic. Why? They look like the biggest losers now.
• There's a lot of concern regarding bans lately. Our view on that: automation has been here for a long, long time. We've been through issue like this more than anyone can imagine. None of them resulted in mass-bans before and it's unlikely that it will now. Instagram has always been able to tell users who use automation apart. It's much simpler than you can imagine and they don't need 1 year-worth of data (as the amazing GitHub team is trying to argue), to determine that. The main reason why they will not ban accounts in mass is because it will significantly hurt their business when they present the latest number at the end of the quarter. A 30% loss in engagement and total users would look really bad in their shareholders' eyes. They will lose billions because of this.
• There have been quite a few fake users here, which are actually the same GitHub team – @freakingout is one of the most active ones. Please take everything you read from those users with a grain of salt.

Simply put, there will always be workaround to any patch/bug/filter. Automation is a huge industry that doesn't only involve hobbyists, but also huge Fortune 500 companies, Hollywood stars, influencers and many more. Everybody is trying to get an edge in the Social Media industry and automation provides a real, tangible advantage.

Don't spread misinformation, don't panic and don't worry about bans or the future of automation!

Prove it. you have a big reason to lie to not scare your bot users who are paying you.... because if this is real antispam (as you say it is too) then your company is fucked

in my research on twitter, every user who said "instagram login" (to look for problems) sorted by time of posting, was all saying "@ some botmaker" every day this went on. i saw no real users .

I hope this is true but i saw no signs of it... whare are your signs?

and about the github developers..... they do this for free, i have more reason to trust them than soneome who sells a bot and is sweating now

Feel free to negate everything. Ultimately, you've not provided any support to this issue, but instead spread misinformation and cause a lot of drama around here.

Also, I can assure you that as I've already said multiple times, we have no concerns over the status of our service. Those are laughable claims in absence of any solid argument.

I have no idea who "notaspammer" is. and apparently I should have waited with my signup so the paranoid asses here didnt think I was connected to someone i dont know? lol, amazing

all I know at this point is that this was something big and insta has more resources than us. i trust github hackers who cracked the API more than i trust some stupid paranoid user or someone desperate selling their bot

You can't possibly be serious. What information have you provided in the past week, apart from copy and pasting GitHub messages and saying how you freak out?

What is your end goal here? You're absurd and do not provide any kind of value on this topic.
