Hello BHW friends,

I'd like to talk about which pages usually you put as noindex in Google? At the moment I have putted as "noindex, nofollow", Privacy Policy, About us, Contact.

What is your opinion about this?

Thank you,
Frankkk

Basically, agreed with Iknowsomethings,
JFYI,
examples of noindex use:
-special email promotion page that you communicate to segmented customers via direct email promotions
-employee only pages
-goal completion pages- if analytic goals are set up to count how many people reach the “thank you” page
As well, any page that is highly duplicate content of other pages on the website should have a noindex, if the page is not a direct duplicate copy of another page and a canonical tag cannot be used.
Cheers.

If you are using wordpress, you might want to block tags and archives from indexing too.

Tags, categories, archive pages etc. Pretty much everything that will merely automatically post duplicate content and won't have any content of your own added.

Anything that is sensitive or is not related to your KWs, niche or content.

for example, a newsletter signup landing or exit page shouldn't be included.
