I often see ads "Aged acconts 2011-2016 years". I have a question: "Do I understand correctly that these are stolen accounts of real users? I do not believe that someone intentionally registered accounts 3 years ago and waited for this day to sell

Yes , Account sellers create those accounts maintain them in stocks and when they get aged they sale them at good prices.

Hah, sure.
dude became a seller a year ago, and accounts he has 50 pieces age 7 years

Yes all accounts older than 5 years are stolen

Edit - I'm talking about Instagram only

maybe some of them are hacked which seller bought from someone else.

how do I know if my account is stolen? I understand that the owner will be able to return it?

I am not trying to cause conflict but I disagree bc I have 5 accounts which are aged from 2011 and one of which is my main account

I'm not trying to blame someone, I just want to understand

There are sellers who create these accounts and sit on them for a couple of years before selling them.
Others build up followers then sell them.

Yes he can in case he has access to original email used for account creation but again 90% of people don't know about that

Someone might create accounts in 2010, sell them in bulk the new seller sit on the accts fr like 2 years while selling all his stock, he then re-seel the rest and the new seller age them again, so it goes like that, that's how peoples still have accts from 2008 & 2009, selling accounts is not something that peoples discovered the last year. don't forget that it used to be easier to create bulk accts before.

a 2 years aged acct is cheaper than a 7 years aged accts, but what buyers don't uderstand is that makes no difference when it comes to keeping the account safe, the only thing that matter is the accts activity and behavior, if the account were warmed and active since they were created, then they'll cost too much if they come with cookies for example.
in some cases like when you want to farm fb ads account, then account age is an important factor.

What exactly is this point? 2015?
Not necessarily. Aged accounts are fine. But in no way does a 5 year old account fare better (or worse) than a 10 year old one. Age is a factor but it's not the only one.

So basically, the value of an account doesn't increase proportionately with its age. It plateaus over a limit. What's that limit you ask? It depends.
