I am seeing strange behavior of google. I was monitoring a few keyword. Those keyword Top 10 result is changing almost every hour.

Clean your cookies, use incognito window to make sure. Also, that's how Google "real time" algorithm works nowadays.

from what I see top 10 results always move a bit, I even think this is on purpose that google will never keep the exact same top 10 for most queries; but there is no need to check hourly, checking daily is nuts enough.

I've seen this recently with a few local clients as well, but not all. I double check rankings reported by the rank tracker with a fresh incognito window, and if I refresh sometimes they move up or down several spots, or if I do a new search in a new incognito window (after closing the original to clear cookies), and they'll be in different spots.

I've had others (in the same town as me) check the same searches in fresh incognito windows and they report different positions as well.

Seems to be Google experimenting, maybe trying to shuffle things up to check CTR?

I woke up yesterday and 3 of my sites went from 25~ to #6 for 15-20k monthly search keywords, ride the waves. Possibly an update

Three client sites of mine have been wildly fluctuating in traffic and rankings since ehhh... I noticed the first nosedive specifically on a site I had just released a redesign for two weeks prior. Almost immediately after pushing the redesign live in June, within a few days anyways, organic traffic went from 50/day to 500 and climbed steadily to above 1,000/day, rode that for a minute, then at end of July or beginning of August, all hell broke loose and its been an emotional roller coaster ever since. Had only made minor formatting changes to the pages during that time, and tested reverting several changes back to how they were before the nosedive... no luck.

All but two of my client sites have also experienced incredible drop in ranked kws during the last month. And finally, huge spikes in my clients using adwords. Something like 10-60 hits a day to over 1,000 with zero change to the ads themselves, or budgets.
