Ok, I purchased the software like 7 weeks ago. I have done a complete test (I used a machine exclusively for it), tried all the plugins, asked in the forum, submitted tickets, talked to the developers... and here is my review: it sucks.
Here is why:
1.- Seo Link Pro is developed for ultra-noob-users: you can't personalize a thing. It is a software for the "I want to do SEO but I don't know what a 301 is" market. So, it's pretty annoying when you figure out that you press "start" and that's it. Forget about the "fine tunning"... or any tunning at all.
2.- It's more than just buggy: the developing team says that they are fixing bugs. They aren't... they are fixing THE WHOLE software. It's SO buggy and SO alpha, that the current costumers are just beta testers... that paid for being one.
3.- It targets already spammed pages: yes, that's it. All the plugins spamm pages that have a well know vulnerability. So, when SeoLinkPro gets there, it posts your link in an already full of hundreds of links and "buy viagra" post.
4.- They are trying to be the next x-rummer, but for newbies: Ok, this sounds like the first one, but is lightly different. They are constantly asking how to make EASIER the setup of the plugins... OMG!!! they CAN'T be easier. But, the private forum is full of questions from people (50% of the customers) that have absolutely no idea of SEO (BH or WH). That's the market and strategy: make an easy to use, no advanced configuration needed, spamming tool. And you know the results of that:
- a lot of newbies using it (so, a lot of spamm, a lot of patches and nofollow being added to the targets)
- less and less options, so you setup your keywords, your anchor text and that's it.
A lot of people say that SLP needs more time. Maybe. But not a month or two... it needs like two years for being useful.
I does not worth the money. If you don't believe me, just purchase it and you will. But, first, read the reviews on this forum. I didn't and I regret.
