My brother is a good and reputed photographer in India & he wants to start promoting his newly renovated website by giving some giveaways and by placing some contests on his website. His ultimate goal is to make a marketplace to sell photography products on his website.
So we need few things to start what we are planning.
1. A good & reliable webhosting service as the site will be heavy by the time we start a marketplace.
2. Good free giveaways for the contest. (Photography related)
3. Any suggestions on how to start.
4. Any tips to drive traffic to the site.

All ideas are welcomed.

2. Write an Ebook (20-30 pages) explaining cool camera tricks for that Ultimate click, Create a gear guide.
3. Start with Social Media (Instagram is preferable for this niche), look for the best layout (template) for the website, simpler is better. Write How-To Guides, Write reviews about the gear you use.
4. Social Media, Newsletters, Google, Pinterest and many more.

1. Just a host first,whether it is DS or Cloud depending on your brother current budget. Lots of web directories where you can find good web host.

2. I also encourage Instagram & facebook as niche for beginning

3. To drive traffic to your site, link building is important.
