Recently I worked with media.net and start making decent earnings but before first month (and getting paid) my account got banned.

The account got banned for low quality traffic. I recieved the warning email on the 19th and took off all links immediately but the next working day I got banned?!?! On the warning email it said it's going to allow 24hours for me to sort out my traffic quality (hence I removed all links quickly sort I can get time to sort it out).

I've since put in the appeal and am thinking it isn't a high quality ppc programme (although it shows the billion dollars takeover). My account manager is 'Rohan Das' after googling about media.net and account banning I came across a site (https://www.moneyhomeblog.com/media-net-scam-review-media-net-ban-account-for-low-quality-traffic/) I read a few comments and came across Rohan D (Rohas Das most likely), here in 2013 he is an account manager and then bussiness exec (I think) and now he is my account manager. I know Rohan is quite a common name but could this simply be that media.net are using some sort of scam techniques?

Like I said they allow 24hours according to the warning email, then they banned, then no reply from appeals nor account manager and I've read reviews and similar things happened in 2013.

Note: although affiliated with yahoo& Bing (who knows if this is true) they are not the owners or property of this company

Yup Scam network but its run by big company so basically you cant say they are scam as they are too big to be a scam network.

They pay for descent traffic and can't say it is scam any more than adsense. But they are definitely strict and pain in the ass to work with.

15days and not recieved a reply from them again. Account has been blocked as well can't say this about adsense at least you get a reply if they say you will. As soon as they didn't give me enough time after my warning email and banned me withing 24hours i realised they won't keep promises..policy is policy..at both ends not just ours

They are not a scam network. They are actually owned by microsoft bing now.

No it's not. Ive been with them for almost a year now.

Funny, you should tell yourself that.

I never quoted you, or directed my answer to you. "no, it's not" is an answer for the OP asking if it is a scam or not. I never disagreed on the ownership of the company.

I think you should really stop replying..i am the op you really must learn to read and absorb properly. I won't be replying to this thread again as not to get into an argument and suggest you dont either

They are owned by Microsoft but can be hard to work with.

I tried monetizing with media.net for some traffic arbitrage and they were nothing but a headache, I'd ditch them & move on and never look back. Sucks you lost some money to them, but call it a learning experience and move on. They aren't scammers, they just don't care about small publishers.

They are owned by microsoft but thing is they pay is ok but adsense is better.
