For me, i will advise you to ignore Alexa rank. If you want to increase the rank, register a paid package with Alexa. It will increase your rank very fast.

When you are paying $19.99 for the certified metrics the numbers will change according to your paying status if you pay you'll get a good ranking, if you stop paying you'll get back to the begining point, alexa is mostly traffic based its useless metric not accurate! Consider using google analytics and webmaster 10 times better then Alexa, good traffic with long threading could lead to rank increase in 48 hours you can rank like hell! But at some point when youll get to a the lowest point you'll have to maintain the same traffic or you'll rank back

I know seo backlink depend upon quality factor. If you create low quality backlink. Its give you negative result or if you create high quality backlink. Its give you positive result.
