Traffic arbitrage is 'exchanging' traffic for money and yes - it doesn't matter how this traffic was acquired.
Even if you didn't spend a penny to get the traffic - you spent your time, which also has monetary value.
I hope you're not saying that making money from free traffic is not traffic arbitrage

i see overall CPM impressions - 0.5$ for UK traffic . what the heck?
may be its not optimized yet, or may be AdX sucks? but its supposed to be kinda "elite" ad exchange..

probably its not good idea and i really need to get into other networks and run their ads via DFP.

Is Adx the only network? If so - it can provide 'mixed' (not so good) results.
You can use them along with other networks like Komoona, Matomy, etc.
The more networks you have access to - the better as you can always switch.

thats a great start!
depending on what your site is you can try to make FBIA apply for Audience Network and monetize your FB traffic with FB ad network.

well, i guess, i finally i came up to same conclusion
more over i want to even move the content to Instant Articles as traffic destination as you already suggested

the question - 0.3$ CPM is horrible , do you think 2-5$ cpm for banner ads is possible for tier 1 traffic?

This can be a good addition, but don't forget to compare results with mobile version, depending on your traffic you may see different results.

I did a traffic arbitrage case study about a year ago and was able to make it profitable. However, I never scaled it up like I should have. Maybe I will get back into it. I currently have too many projects going right now, and this method required me to "babysit" a little more than I wanted, which is why I scratched the project. Maybe some of you guys can take from this though..

Depending on how much money it brings, 'babysitting' becomes fun
Also, since I have huge experience babysitting (own kids) I would say that babysitting site that brings money is easy)

seo must not be a part if ur doing abritrage
its buy /sell sequence if u talk about seo u

If you watch th videos I posted I am pretty transparent about which networks I use, where I buy traffic and my exact method..

(I'm not OP btw) but seriously just Google cpm networks or whatever.. if you need to be spoon-fed you won't make it very far in IM my friend.

Thanks for the reply. It's 98% US traffic. I earn basically in total from all my ads, about $8.00 per 1000 views, therefore slightly less then a penny gets me even and .0079 gets me profitable. I was able to get a ton of stories on facebook even at $.004 but those days are long gone....maybe. I will try again in a few weeks.

But besides SEO and free traffic, I don't think there is any place to buy traffic that cheap. My other alternative would be to index my stories more and get 3 or 4 pageviews per visit. Currently I'm averaging about 2.

Some networks allow you to set CPM floor this can help you to get higher rates, though the higher CPM the less fill.
10k-15k - is that ad impressions or page views? the number is not high, if you can increase that, you can increase profits as networks can put more advertisers to be shown on your site
