How usefull is GSA SER today in the backlink strategy aspect do you think? thank you all for your insight on this topic.

After some hard research and analyze, I can say that you have to use GSA strategically.
I am researching for few days.
Many marketers are saying it makes spam links.
Truly speaking brother, if you use it wisely, it has lots of value.
For example, you can use it as tier 2 and 3 links. Or different way.
I think it's worth to buy.

in 2017 GSA SER is still powerful for tier 2 and 3 link building it completely depends on how you have to use the tools.

It's a part of my overall link building strategy. Easy way to rank multiple parasites and for tier 2 / 3 backlinks without much work. Just need a good filtered list

Quite big learning curve nowadays. You can't just load it and spam like a machine gunner. Also, there will be some investments necessary without too much of a results for first couple months. It's not like you just buy GSA and that's all you need. Proxies, VPS, captcha breaker (or some other captcha solving service for more quality links), poossibly even list, content, plus time etc. So costs will pick up.

You can also contact our local GSA expert @Shaunm who can surely answer some questions.

If you have an already proven SEO strategy and SER is able to automate part of it then it's useful. For example, you can use it to automate your posts to a PBN if you go the PBN route. I feel the more traditional use for mass automated links has taken a hit, I have been testing a bunch of stuff over the past few month and posted a little bit of my upcoming strategy in my journey thread. My own personal feelings are that link uptime is the main problem for SER now, so you need a pretty solid filtered list, I am looking to do more towards the SERE route though as their web 2.0s are pretty solid and use it for T3 link building.

If you are totally new to the tool then I have a bunch of GSA SER tutorials online that you may find useful too.

I love it
except PBN posts, I havent spend more $ and time on bullshit not doing a fuck if you got competition.

+ ton of "real" mails if you dont want to screw your "confirmation" rate..

except @Shaunm , noone on the forum is using it anymore.

I use it for Tier 2 and Tier 3 backlinks but never for my MS. I can be a very useful tool if you know how to use it. Frankly I am not saying that I master in GSA, I am still learning. But I am using it to build link to my web2.0 network and it works well. However you need to have a VPS, proxies, captcha breaker, some spinned articles.

I am a big fan of GSA search engine ranker.

OFC there is a learning curve and everything does. You need VPS , Proxies and emails like almost all tools need them to register accounts , run the software and etc.

If you know what you are doing you can automate. Best part is its one time fee.

I am using it for everything. I am not a big fan of PBNs that doesn't mean i don't do. Even i do i still need GSA arsenals to pump up and keep maintain those domains. If you do a quick search in almost all niches you will wonder how many GSA links in serps.

You can use it for T1. I use it for T1 myself with contextuals and web 2.0s.Some users use it for lower tiers.

It's better and cheaper solution than PBNS.

For that you can use simple catchalls or mail.ru.

I use it myself for day to day link building tasks plus i am pretty sure you will be able to see thousands of gsa ser users in there BST section and their forum.

GSA search engine ranker aka GSA SER is the tool i use myself for first place in my local SEO agency. Like any tool, strategy you need some resources for that.

If you need to a PBN backlink to your site, you need to buy
expired / auction domain
3rd party services to check their backlinking profiles/metrics like ahrefs /moz and majestic seo
hosting
content to place
time etc

Same applies to GSA SER or any tools it needs

Proxies
VPS
etc

So we can't say this thing is better than that thing. Everything has a value. It's unable to compare orange and apple.

Many users including me and my clients using GSA SER along with rankings. But 99% of are low competition or medium. For higher or even medium you may need much more powerfull links (backlinks like from cnn) even that you will see some failiurs. (Depends on many factors and after all google has its own RRF )

I would say bing react very fast than google with GSA SER links. Google takes time and it applies to all links inlcuding GSA SER.

I have seen many threads like this asking XX good for 2016 , 2017 multiple times. Yes its worth every penny. Cause the developers are updating the software frequantly and it's one time fee affodable software.

Every tool has it's own value till they update /project dies.

For backlinking strategies :

GSA SER is popular and proven for tired link building. Some use for lower tiers while other uses including myself for first tiers with web 2.0s and contextual.

I use it for T1 to T3, it is safe depending on how you set it up. IMO it's worthwhile, but read up before you spend money on it as it's not just GSA SER - I personally have GSA SER, GSA Captcha Breaker, GSA Platform Identifier, Scrapebox, Scrapebox Automator, and a manual captcha solving method. So it does add up!

I feel sorry for your "local clients", when that's all they get.

you charge them 500$ for 50 backlinks or whats your deal there?

Hope you dont operate in my area, cause I get weekly calls of such messed up "linkbuilding" cases..

and dont com with "medium" comp keywords on me.

you rank rank shit with spam crap on "medium competition", if there is any fuckin relevancy or authority needed.

Hey could you please pm your strategy of using gaa ser links for tier 1. I am trying to rank a site with keyword difficulty 40 with some manual web2 and gsa ser contexuals will that be possible with gsa ser

Many ways you could do GSA SER, but primarily, you can use it to power up your upper tiers.

BTW 40 means very difficult number to rank. But you can try. I don 't build links manually. I am living with bot blackhat technics :) .Always go mass.
