How to Make WordPress PBNs Faster

I'm seriously building PBNs these days. However, I am looking for ways to make the process as Fast and As Easy as possible.

After setting up a New WordPress site Doing the first things (Deleting Default Page and Post, Comment, Setting Permalink, Adding Theme, category, and all other stuff) takes a hell lot of time. Now think to do this over and over again, Not so awesome thing to do ;(.

So I found a plugin for doing this job faster, it's called http://wpfreshstart.com/sales/, However, it's a premium plugin and it costs like $20. While searching for a free alternative I found https://wordpress.org/plugins/selfish-fresh-start/, a free plugin which doesn't have all the features like the first one.

So here's my question, How you guys do it and are there any free plugin for this job.

Also, share some other tips and tricks which can make the process of building WordPress PBNs as fast and easy as possible.

That's a good plugin you mentioned (WP Fresh Start) tho I didn't use it personally. I built every PBN manually so far, because things like modifying htaccess, setting up yoast / any seo plugins can't be done automatically. I know it's tedious but I'd rather chose safer than faster.

I'd like to know what others mind as well.

Definitely safe over fast.

Using same plugin to build everything will definitely leave some huge footprints as well, so that's not advised. Still, it costs just $20, that's really nothing if you really want to use that. Another option is to outsource the process. I would rather focus on quality than quantity. My 2 cents.

I don't know anything about either of these plugins, but I'll share what I do know from a lot of Wordpress automation work:

You could create a skeleton setup you like and use a plugin like All in One Migration to save a backup. You could then upload this onto every new Wordpress install that you create. This alone would save you a lot of time. To go a step further than that, you could learn Wordpress Command Line Interface (WP-CLI) to do most of what you mentioned, and something like Selenium for anything it can't do.

The couple things that you mentioned can be automated. If by 'setting up' plugins you meant installing and activating, this can be done very easily with WP-CLI. Whether it's worth it to automate if you're not building a ton of PBN sites is another question.

Footprints are more along the line of having the same / too similar post titles, having the date in the same format on every blog and adding multiple posts with the same keyword in the title on the same day. Using the same theme, unless it's a dynamic theme that auto-switches variables I.e shadowmaker. Having the same email on all domains, etc.

G isn't scanning plugins folder and looking for footprints. If you're worried about it just disallow plugins in robots.txt. In my own testing I've seen no evidence of this. Sure, it's cool to be extra-safe, but if you're only talking about a few plugins like Yoast/AIO etc, having that on every blog is certainly not a problem.

I can assure you, that this indeed is a problem. For example people who overused Link Juice Keeper plugin were hit left and right.

I can assure you, it's not a problem. And if Link Juice Keeper is a 404-to-301 plugin, I can also assure you, being it doesn't contain in external calls / other footprints, that it's not the reason people were getting hit. Although having a plugin with the name "link juice" probably isn't the smartest idea - at minimum edit the files and re-name it.

I use my own code for 404 to 301 on every aged site I own and never had a problem. Sure some get deindexed, but that's to be expected with or without the same plugins. I have many, many domains, if anything you believe is a footprint was actually a footprint, I'd know about it.

Less over-analyzing, more action.

Sure some get deindexed, but that's to be expected with or without the same plugins.

I don't think /wp-content/plugins is blocked in robots by default, but it may and likely does contain an index.php file which would prevent google from being able to see which plugins are installed.

Obviously any plugins that included code in the source of your blog would be able to be seen. But if you could only see what I've seen out here in the trenches, you'd laugh at this stuff.

i think it is like once bitten cries twice ,as google clamped down of PBNs in the past from same networks etc having some common things resulted in footprint like things.....also a plugin is meant to be used by many on many many sites, like almost everyone is using all in one seo or yoast plugin...that does not mean a footprint.

You don't think in 2017 G can tell what a PBN looks like? Are you making your sites look like actual news sites and stuff? Hiring writers to update them? I mean virtually anyone that's into IM can spot a PBN in under 2 seconds.

Chances are your sites don't get deindexed because of the hosts you use, not because of quality / plugin randomization. I'm sure it will really help you when G manually inspects your blog and its "theorangegroup.com" with blog posts about weight loss supplements.

? What are you talking about mate? How does $20 make my PBN's more secure. I've cycled through many thousands of domains in the last 7 years. Some of my old blogs that had perfect layouts, custom made, no homepage posts still got deindexed... Deindexing is a part of PBN life. Of course I'd prefer it didn't happen, but sometimes it does, even in top quality PBN's. I can spot a PBN domain in 5 seconds, so it's likely G can too.

They either don't care, because we, as PBN users, create only a very small percentage of the market and they can't justify the money needed to root us out. For that they would need an actual manpower and tons of manual reviewers. At this point, it's most likely only a handful of guys who check "flagged" sites that can potentially be PBNs. 95% of the work, when it comes to discovering PBNs, is done by algorithm. If someone has 10 same plugins on 30 websites, then that's a footprint that can be caught by this algorithm. I won't be giving Google more reasons to screw me than I have to, especially when fixing or avoiding them costs 5 minutes of time at most.

If you know basic coding then you know that php / htaccess code is executed server side and G can't see it. For example people who think blocking bots in htaccess is a footprint. To anyone that understands coding this is a ludicrous statement. G has shadowbots but they aren't sending shadow MJ12 bots, and they can't even see the code as htaccess is executed server side before G loads the page.

The same goes with PHP. If your plugins folder has an index.php file, and G visits the page, it's shown a blank page. They cannot tell what plugins you're running except by looking at the source code. That's why you:

A) Only use plugins that don't leave footprints in the source code of your blog.

B) Remove the source code from any that do if you want to use them. For example I have a modified Yoast plugin I made that removes all traces of anything to do with "Yoast," there is no indication in the source of my sites that I have this plugin installed. There is a 0% chance G would / could know.

I recommend every SEO learn at minimum the basics of PHP / etc. Teaching myself helped my SEO career immensely.

OP how much did these PBN domains cost? Either they're trash or your spending a lot as a scraping setup. $20 is not much in comparison to potential earnings

Yep, same issue as myself. I hate building websites now. But I can't make any money without one.

I normally break the tasks up into days, like this:

Monday - Buy domain and add WordPress to the host.
Tuesday - Add plugins (About 20 of them ).

Then I create the website from the top down:

Wednesday - Put a header on the site (A cool logo).
Thursday - Add the middle part of the site (Whatever content I want there: Blog posts, product photos, menus, sidebars, etc.)
Friday - Add the footer to the site.
Saturday - Add the About page and the Contact page.
Sunday - Add the Privacy Policy and Terms to the site.

If I remain consistent and it is a quick site, I can get it up in 7 days like above.

If I want to make it a bit more fancy, which usually means I have to add more stuff to the middle part, I will spend an extra day on that. So, if you are willing to put in a good 10 days to make the site, this includes extra days in case you want to take a break, you will have a very nicely organized website to start making money with.
