Is it bad submitting new pages to google all the time?

Every time I publish a new post on my blog, I submit it to google as it gets indexed within minutes that way.

But is there any negative effect of this?

I heard someone talking about leaving footprints is a side-effect.

I would like to know your notions on the topic.

If your blog is new Google will take time to index pages without your action.
My blog is one month old and Google indexes new posts in 1 day.

That is what Google made it for, why would it be harmful? There is a limit to how many pages you can submit, so as long as you aren't trying to skirt that you should be fine.

I'm pretty sure that Google already knows that all the posts on a given blog are by the same person. Submitting a ton of things to index is fine.

Hard to say. You can submit pages to index even if they aren't on your own site. If you're logged into a Google account and search for "submit URL to index," you'll get a box to submit a URL for any site regardless of whether you own the site:
https://www.google.com/search?q=submit+url+to+index&oq=submit+url+to+index&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l2.3555j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

And there are plenty of valid reason to do so. For example, if a competitor's page 404s but is still indexed and ranking above you for a keyword, you might ask Google to recrawl the page to speed up the deindexing of the 404.

Is submitting a site to Google a footprint that Google considers when connecting sites? It certainly could be. If it is, it is certainly considered in the context of many other footprints.

I do not think there's any harm is letting Google know about the new page that you have on your site. However, if your site is new, and perhaps if the link profile is not that established yet, perhaps you may want to schedule these new content for submission to Google - You don't want Google discovering hundreds of new links or content, as perhaps there are other factors which may suggest unnatural for such occurrences that may get your site flagged in the process.

No, it is fine. There's nothing wrong in doing that habit of yours. It's effective at getting content indexed quickly.
