Hello guys,
I have an instagram account that I've been growing manually for some time now... however now when I press the follow button it works for around 10 people. The people I follow after appeared to be followed ("it says following"), however the number of people I follow on my profile stays the same.

If this has ever happened to anyone I would very much appreciate their help. Is this a bug or is something wrong with my account?

I would ease off the following for a few days, nothing to worry about. Just give it some time and things should be back to normal in no time.

Yes I've increased the number of people I follow per day to try out if it worked.. it seems that it doesn't.

Check your followers list manually on your phone and you will see that it will show the recent followers and as you scroll down you will see the same people again twice... Instagram did something to the followers list... so it repeats its self after a certain number of people.

Temp Banned. Just wait for a day and then if it doesnt work....go to 3 days....then 5. It will definitely be lifted by then....otherwise they would just shut you off.

Guys I think it's not a temp ban.. I've had temp bans before and this time it's different.
I can follow like 40 people normally. After that, when I follow someone, it appears as though I am following them.. the button doesn't change from "following" to "follow" again.
But when I look at my profile the number of people I follow doesn't change? It's weird...

I agree with @mgatz22 i think you can only follow 30 or 40 people per hour, so after that it doesn't let you follow more. Happens to me every day lol

No but normally I can follow more.. normally I follow about 150 people then I wait for an hour and then I repeat the process a couple of times.. I do it manually not with bots

so i just read on another thread that you can do 30-40 per action and then you have to wait 20-25 minutes and do another 30-40...

tbh i'm not really sure but definitely from the past (maybe two?) month.
