You need to post on the Facebook link that I posted a few pages previously. I posted a question on the Facebook help forum so hopefully someone will reply to us.

If any of you are running FB ads, then you can also seek support through there, you are more likely to get a reply.

Running ads won't help You. Therer is no contact form allowing write about ads reach, and when You write to another rthay just say: "We can't help in this"

I was thinking about one guy in another thread telling this is a problem with facebook and they are trying to fix it. I might belive in him.

Think about it: why "ghost" a account if facebook could simply suspend forever the account to post links and put big red warning telling you cannot share links anymore (they can do that and they DO that when you are suspended to post links, videos, etc...)

The question is: people ghosted will be able to post with reach again or this is just a delay to be forever suspended....

Oh, dear. This ghosting thing is killing me :(

If it was me I would not count on FB having any mercy.
They are a for profit company and don't give a shit about people that make money on their platform.
Even if you DO pay for ads they don't care about you.
It's a huge faceless corporation that has one sole objective...to make money.

Don't wait for them to "fix" the issue, work on building more FB pages or just abandon FB altogether.

That million likes all organic or did you buy a big part of these likes?

@randybishop - sad but true. I have Fanpages built from FB ads that cost me huge amont of money and for them it's nothing, also banned. Organic, real content, real fans also banned...

I have been in contact with Facebook support staff. Before anyone asks, I cannot provide you with their email address because I don't have an actual address. I contacted them through my Facebook Ad account.

Below is the email exchange.

I hope and pray this message reaches you. All of my pages have been hit with some kind of penalty, without warning or reason. I don't know what or if I have done anything wrong but all 5 of my pages now get ZERO reach no matter what web link I share, even if it's something from Fox News. Please tell me this is something you can assist me with. Why have I been penalized and what can I do to fix it? If there is anything whatsoever you can tell me or anything I can do to correct this, I will do anything and everything possible. If you can't help me, I appreciate you taking the time to read this email anyway.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for reaching out to Facebook Ad Support! My name is Victoria and I'd be happy to assist you with why you have had Pages have been hit with a penalty. I do understand this is a major issue for you and that is why I am here to help. I want to provide as much support as I can in this instance since I understand how difficult these situations can be. I don't have much information in front of me right now, so would you be able to send me links to the Pages that have received the penalty? Could you also explain what you saw when you first noticed this? Could you send me the Ad Accounts associated with the Pages as well?

Also, do you use Business Manager for these Pages? Any other information you can provide would be much appreciated so I can get the ball rolling on this! Please send me the information as soon as you can and I'd be more than happy to give us an answer or resolution for you!

Sincerely,
Victoria

Victoria,

First and foremost, thank you for replying, even if you are unable to assist me. This first began happening a couple of weeks ago and it only hit a couple of my small pages so I didn't pay it any mind, simply thinking it was a Facebook glitch that would soon be sorted out. Unfortunately though, on Tuesday my other 3 pages were hit as well. No warning or reason was given but all of a sudden, my posts stopped being distributed in Facebook newsfeed. Please understand I am not a spammer, but I fear the Facebook AI has branded me as a spammer for some reason. I share legitimate news articles, using reputable sources, twice per hour from my website at xxxxxxxxx

The pages that have been hit with this penalty are as follows:

I am also including a screenshot so you can see exactly what is happening. As you can see in the image, the post had been on the page for 3 hours but only a single person had seen it and that is because they visited our Facebook page directly. I use the Facebook business manager with all of my pages. My Facebook Business ID is ********. My ad account ID is *********.

Victoria, I do my best to stay in Facebook's good graces so if you could please, please assist me with how to prevent this from happening I would be indebted to you. I am doing everything I can to keep my sanity. At the same time, however, I understand special concessions cannot be made simply because of the aforementioned. I truly do my best to abide by Facebook's terms and guidelines so when something like this happens, without rhyme or reason given or even so much as a date as to when the penalty will be lifted, it is very troublesome because I don't know what I did wrong or I wouldn't have done it in the first place.

I see so many other pages posting twice per hour so I have been using that as my guideline to prevent flooding the newsfeed. Additionally, I know Facebook has cracked down on clickbait headlines (understandably) so I've made sure to tailor my headlines so they won't be sensational, misleading or downright clickbait. So as you can see, I am truly confused and troubled as to why this happened and if someone can tell me where I went wrong, I assure you it *will not* happen again.

Thank you so very much for any assistance or insight you can provide.

Respectfully,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Thank you so much for your email. I completely understand the state you are in and that you require assistance to continue advertising here. I truly feel for you and wish I could snap my fingers to help you out with your income. Sadly, I am no genie, but I will attempt to do my best to resolve your situation! Keep a positive outlook here so we can have all the good vibes coming our way!

What I have just submitted (thanks for all the information off the bat too!) is an appeal for the Pages being taken down. I cannot guarantee that anything can come of this, but I am trying my best to figure out why this happened and provide you with the necessary information to move forward.

I should hear back from my team within 3-5 business days regarding this, and at that time I will be able to update you on the progress and let you know what we can or cannot do.

Please feel free to email me any questions or concerns you may have, as I am happy to help in any way I can!

Thanks,

Guys that write these emails have nothing on their hands, they just forward requests and problems to another team and then this team ignores/declines your requests 90% of the time. I have a long experience on fb support, I was even part of their live chat beta (don't know if it ever became available to everyone) they simply won't do shit to help you. You will probably get another email saying that there was nothing that could be done and only excuses. Anyways I hope you are lucky and they will solve your case :)

I found an old link I had bookmarked from 2014 of their chat form and here it is, you can try your luck, maybe the chat will work for you. For me it says " Hi! Chat is unavailable." probably this is because the account I am on has no ads manager activated.

Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble but you are wrong.

My biggest page was deleted by Facebook on September 1, 2015. After months and months of not knowing what to do, I came upon a Facebook support email and in March of 2016, my page was reinstated.

So, no, it's not entirely pointless to reach out to Facebook support. Whether they can help or not largely depends on the circumstances. The worst they can do is say 'no' because even if they unpublish the pages, at this point they're essentially worthless.

Boost the posts to targeted audiences to create a culture around your pages.

I think I have the answer for this and you won't like it.

I have a chat with a facebook rep. Which is very helpful (Most of the time, this rep will just give you generic response but this one has given me valuable info)

We have update the information on Link Post creation in all Pages in the market in which it will be rolled out to Pages in the market. With our new system and Policy, URL Link Post might not be able to Reach or get more Engagement.
To provide a further safer platform for the user, we will be introducing Link Ownership tool to Pages.

Through this tool, you will be able to register your official website and further share it with your audience. We have limit the Organic reach for Link Post as there are users who may or may not response to Facebook Link Post because people might think it could be spread of misinformation and false news on our Platform.

Hence, Link Post can only received the Organic Reach data when your audience visit your Page personally to check on your Page information.
Please look out for the Link Ownership tool that will be roll out to Pages. Here is the link for further information on it facebook.com/business/help/247886969033572

This means that:

A. we need to wait until the update has been fully rolled out and the page updated.

B. Hope that our page can be verified to have this link ownership tool.

Anymore information about this will certainly help, anyone with contact that can help us get link ownership pls do share
