Start new TODAY, what would you do?

This is a question to those of you who do full-time SEO! It is a theroretical question, but it relates with me and i would want you to give serious answers.

If you'd start from scratch today with everything what you know about SEO, some webdevelopment skills, but almost no $$$ to invest, and needed a stable income of let's say $40 daily (net) to live, what would you do?

All you have is a computer, internet, and a lot of time.

I'm looking forward to your answers! Please say more than "affiliate marketing" or something!

Honestly, I would look for a more RELIABLE and STABLE source of income.

The first I made company was an SEO company.

$40 is not a lot so I assume you might still be still a student? I would focus on developing a real skill, If I were you I would look into Python and AI. This opens up what you can do in 1-2 years to endless possibilities. With those Skills, you could apply them to affiliate marketing. O the possibilities

If you have no money then it is likely to take quite some time before you are earning $40 p/d
Realistically it will probably be better to find an offline job and work at IM/SEO in your spare time.

I am working 20 hours a week as webdeveloper for my clients and i have a lot of time to build something from the ground up.

No i am fine with the hours i work for clients already. ;-) The point is i want to have a stable source of income and not do boring webdesign gigs anymore. If i do boring work i want to at least do it to grow my own business if that makes sense.

I'd go out there to work first. Seriously, IM is about spending money to make money. You gotta invest. At least that's how I did it.

Warrior forum will say great content will attract natural links, but I'm not betting on that.

OK so learn SEO but obviously the time spent learning means you won't be earning.
And it will take time for you to be sufficiently experienced to make a stable income and take on clients.
So if you have free time then you might learn enough in a year, but obviously you won't be earning $40 a day.

Also your goals aren't clear, if your business is web design and you say you want to grow your business but are sick of web design!?!
If you are bored of web design, what makes you think you won't get bored of SEO?

Ok sorry for not making that clear. I love to develop websites, writing scripts etc. That's not the problem. But if i do if for myself i am really passionate and i want to work all day. If i have to work for a client i am counting the hours. Thats why i want to shift from working for clients to working only for myself. I am a well experienced IT specialist. IT#s also not that i am not already working on something on the side for quite a while. I do! But i wanted to ask this theoretical question in order to hear / read what you guys would do if you had to start over again today.

OK if you love developing websites then start to learn keyword and niche research then move on to SEO.
Build some amazon/clickbank sites on the side.

If I knew then what I know now?
Learn keyword research and expect to have many costly failures in the future. Also, you can't do it all yourself, your gonna have to outsource many things and it cost money.
