Reading over this thread, and then all the commentaries that came afterwards shows me that a bunch of you have nothing better to do than sit around like old ladies at a bridge club gossiping about bullshit. What I do professionally, which most of you haven't the first clue about, is network administration in its rawest form. Yes, I'm proud to be a LIR member of the RIPE NCC. It takes quite a bit of credentials to get in there and it takes a few thousand euros a year to maintain that, on top of learning how their systems work, how to perform registrations, and how to get the most out of being an internet numbers registrar. 99% of all you sitting here talking shit, especially
@jheyslow haven't the first clue what a network administrator does, how servers and networks are built, where ip addresses come from, or how they are allocated to data centers, isp's, etc... Let me give you a hint...they get those allocations from people like me. Local internet registrars are the folks that control ip addresses. We get brand new allocations all the time, and generally as many as we can justify usage for.
With the allocations that we receive for ourselves, we have several options as to what we can do with them: we can sub-lease them out, we can outright sell them, or we can register those ip's anyway we want and route them to our own networks. We have complete freedom as regiistrars to use our authority pretty much any way we please. Can we register ip's to jurisdictions we don't have a physical presence in? Yes, we can. Its common practice amongst many, many, LIR members and other companies in the vpn, proxy, and rdp businesses. Is there any shame to be had in that? Absolutely not. Why? Do you think an isp has a physical presence in every single city they serve? Of course not. Do they publicly say that they don't have a presence in every city? Again, of course not. Why? Because its not necessary to say that. Understanding what a LIR does and can do, 99% of internet surfers wouldn't have the first clue. Server providers who are LIR members more often than not provide their users with their own company/corporate ip ranges registered to any jurisdiction they feel necessary. Are they publicly disclosing that? Most likely not. Its primarily done this way either to save a company financial resources, as higher profit lines ensures a companies survival [especially in over-competitive markets] or to bring jurisdictions to the market that aren't normally available or obtainable in other capacities. The demand in the blackhat world, and what allows many of these operations to survive, is the amount of network resources, or ip addresses, an entity [whether legally registered or not] can obtain. Without those resources and jurisdictions many of your blackhat projects wouldn't get past day one. Its innovation, its ideas, and its access to resources desperately needed by the blackhat community being obtainable that allows this charade to continue to operate. Many of you here, especialy those of you thumbing your noses at people like me that tries to make different possibilities a reality in the blackhat world should be thanked, not shunned if you thought about this with a rational mind.
The next think that comes to mind that many of you thumb-nosers have so much time to sit here and complain about are ethics. None of you have ethics. If you did, you wouldn't be in a blackhat community to begin with. All of you are here to try and figure out how to make money for yourselves by subverting the rules and guidelines of another company or companies, and folks like myself and other proxy technology companies empower you to do that. And what do you do when your here? Instead of going about your business you come to this thread with your links and your wanna-be investigative methods trying to shower others with negativity instead of concentrating on your own projects. Its such a joy to see that so many of you have absolutely nothing going on in your own lives and have all the time to watch this particular thread and make your commentaries. It shows me that most of you are failing. Those with the most negative comments only show me how jealous you really are of someone who does make money and who has hundreds of clients from this very site. But what you don't realize is that press and exposure, whether positive or negative, always equals traffic. And any kind of traffic can be converted if you know what your doing, or if your products and technologies, as well as methodology sells itself. And thats exactly whats happening here in this thread. I've gotten quite the interest in the last 24 hours and the nay-sayers in the thread here with the loudest mouths keep calling attention to my site and my products and thats exposure I'm converting.
The last thing you want to trumpet on BHW is ethics. This is the land of people with zero ethics. And proxy companies capitalize on your zero ethics whether you win or fail in your non-ethical projects, proxy companies always win. Why do we always win? Because there will always be a need for ip addresses no matter the project. The demand for those with ip addresses will always be there no matter how hard you try and slam that company into the mud. Luminati was one such example where security researchers blasted that company to all hell over their non-disclosure policies of jacking everyone's ip addresses and bandwidth. They took a small beating over that, but they quickly recovered no matter the immense bad press because no one could compete with what they offered. And today they are still going strong despite every piece of bad press about them. If my sources are correct, they are now making more money than any proxy company around today.
In summary, your cynicism is short lived and you have very little satisfaction to gain from this thread. Myself and my company have weather bad storms before and we always come out on top. Am I going to stop producing my unique technologies? Absolutely not. Am I going to stop succeeding in my niche? Absolutely not. Am I going to be intimidated or shy away because of bad press in this thread? Of course not. I've been around longer than most vpn and proxy companies today and I'll continue producing for those that avail of the services I offer. I tip my [black] hat to those of you that felt the need to comment in your negativity [or group mentality] to this thread. While your thining about negative comments to write about me and my company, I'm out there making money. Maybe you folks should learn how the game is played and you'd be busy making money too. Enjoy.
