well, the stuff bring them from #30 to #15.. but not further. but that aint my problem if the UNDERestimate the competition... I did it on many projects for long time also :/.

yup, i find it suprising everyone spends SO much time on seo and not fb seo, youtube seo, reddit seo which ALL get major traffic and are FAR easier to manipulate.

Study and keeping up with all seo changes is the only way foward sorry .

I been investing in bricks and water so i am ok you got to have a backup plan in internet marketing, dont put all your eggs in one basket your always survive .....

I noticed most of the real seo work is social engagement once that mastered
You can do anythink , i suggest ppl understand socail engagement really heavy it here to stay and it very young ....

I like the short 2 weeks websites that get thousands of hits and hundred of sales then it all over then do it all agin ....

Buy the way , when i no a website of mine going down i flip it quick , so i never really care about indexing problems .

But if you take seo as a life investment
There to many doom days , seo can get you very depressed , your never win google but try dont hurt , but the rewards is getting there making and then sell then run lol

Turn and Burn sites as I said are the problem not the cure it is scorched earth and making it harder for everyone else to stand out AND you are making short term money a year from now all of your revenue could dry up with one update ... and it is coming ... you do not think Google knows exactly what is bad for its products click bate spam sites and ad revenue driven goblins ... keep turning your sites for 2k profit just do not be surprised when you spend to try to catch up and there is no more catching up it is game over to the sites that have real content, real links and real social branding ... and you spend 1/2 the money you made and all of your time trying to catch up to what you can never replace. Cash in now and invest in stocks and the moment your plan goes from #5 to #30 get a real job ...

If it is an algorithm, it can be gamed. That should sum it up.

Traditional "Blackhat SEO" methods might not be as effective, but something else might come up due to the changes.

I think it's getting more important to evaluate your product niche. A friend of mine built a niche side with hardly 4000 words of content on the whole site. He built a few links in forums and got two (not very strong) links from my pbn and outranks wikipedia now on rank one.
We discovered this recently after two months, where we thought the project isn't worth the time.

I don't agree. It all depends on what niche you are working on and how much you got power to dominate. It's a game. In my point of view there is no point even bother with whitehat seo ? What really is it ? lol ?
Following web masters guidelines? Just look up your competitor sites and you will see how many of them really follow webmaster guidance aka so called whitehat. I used to use scrapebox for blog comment blasting but now for scraping and all the other things. People say scrapebox died nah ...i guess they are not just capable how to use and what kind of things it can be done ? That is exactly like similar to this question. I am on multiple niches and all i do is testing different strategies and if something works i do apply to my money site.

Google has been increasing indexing time ratio often..that being said it doesn't mean its no way to rank..Also SEO changes it's like our life... I have seen many failur people and claiming its hard to win seo game ....today also some people saying while others getting great results with seo.

I am spending over $400 for all the captchas , proxies , serengines , gsa ser servers etc and i am earning 700% ROI along with few sites....so i can't say its not a worth shot.

I don't like FB or others...but i like to rank fb fan pages

That's why we should do our niche research and keyword research before we jump into it. When choosing a niche, you should consider the traffic generation method that you are going to use.
Ex. If your main traffic source is google, then you need to analyze the competition and decide its suitable or not. If it's paid, then you should think about PPC costs, FB ad costs etc.

Today is the easiest day to start SEO basically, because everyday SEO is getting harder.
However, getting harder is part of the game, you shuold remember that it is getting harder for EVERYONE and not just YOU.

SEO stands for Search engine optimizing. There is not such a good way or bad way. It all depends on what you are at and how you get that.

The search engines work with signals/links. So there will be always a way to manipulate this. Of course it will be harder and will cost you time. But think about, the first "seo experts" have done their experiment and with knowledge and some luck they found strategy that you want to implement 10 years later and complain it's hard ... well no wonder. Engines are trying to make this harder to bank more.
People who are hard workers and maybe a little lucky will profit for sure.
