So in the past I have been focusing a lot (maybe too much) on follower growth. To maximize the nr. of accounts to follow/unfollow daily I set the filters very loose for quite some time, only neglecting to not follow people who have no avatar for example.
Now my engagement recently has dropped quite a lot. When I scroll through the feed of my personal account it takes some time before I see content of the accounts I manage (which are 7 all of which I post on nearly daily). I see a lot more content of Facebook friends I follow even though they don't post nearly as much.
To do that I want to identify my inactive followers and 1ST: try to activate them again by liking some of their posts. 2ND: Delete them since they are probably not interested or perhaps even fake accounts (never bought followers btw) so I don't need them anyway.
I purchased InsTrack (ios app) to identify these ghost followers but it doesn't seem to work, also with large accounts this is quite a hassle because you can't export the list into a csv anyway.
MY QUESTION IS: Has anybody already had success identifying (perhaps activating) their inactive followers? If yes, could you share how?
My idea was perhaps Follow Liker could scrape users who liked or commented on my content in the past. These are your whitelisted followers. then scrape all followers and subtract the whitelisted so you are left with your ghost followers.
I am no expert with FL so before I waste a lot of time I thought to share it here, maybe there are more people who ran into this before me..
