Hey, I don't have a lot of knowledge about the android studio or have experience in programming with Java or Kotlin. Will I still be able to make $1000 per month with this method? How much money and time do I need to invest before seeing real income?

1. You need to learn basics: how to install android studio, what is activity, service, alarm manager, json, android app structure. You can find it in many places for free. It should take you no longer than 1 week. Make few hello world from tutorial and you are ready. After 2-3 weeks you can release own apps (mostly reskined with ready to use source code). We have some source codes ready to use on community boards but you need very basics to use blackhat/greyhat things.
2. $1000 is not a lot, so you will be able but first basics. After releasing your apps, you need another 2-3 weeks to bump them.
3. Why the price is different? You see my post up? Or not reading? BST will be change before or after weekend, I need to pay $30 for this edit and wait for mod to change. Price is different because it was promotional price. I was talking about increasing for last 2 weeks and asked people many times to check it before I increase it. It's higher to keep it more elite and hidden. Price will come up to $79 in some 3-4 weeks and again up to $200. I don't want spread it to thousands of users. I prefer loyal users who will focus arround the community.

If I use an app builder such as Seattle Clouds would your book still be beneficial for ASO, etc? Or would the main benefits require access to the source code?

Yes but if don't have access to code and modify, then you loose a lot. If you need source code, there are a lot ready to use sources in our community. Some guy used ready to use game from community, pumped 20k cheap installs from facebook ads and have 30$/day
