Where do major record labels buy youtube views from?

Now let's be realistic here, there is absolutely no way that some new MTV ''star'' who has just released a song is more popular in a first few days than all songs from The Beatles combined...Only a fool would believe that, and there are a lot of fools in this world so I was just wondering since it is more than obvious that major record labels buy huge amounts of views, where do THEY really buy them from? It must be a kind of a deal with the YouTube, that is Google, itself, but is there a website that provies youtube views that is secretly owned by YouTube (Google) itself, and if so does anyone here know of it?

For a while people were fooled into Virool. A lot of the record companies use private bot nets to get their start up views, then they would move into youtube ads and cross promotionals. I feel that people trust big companies too much because of the paint it white mentality. You tend to paint things white and innocent because you don't see the dirt and slime water on the other side of the fence. Its how your psychology works, and tbh its hard to unlearn this type of laziness unless you know about it.

The record/music industry is renowned for manipulation and dodgy practices. Obviously they never admit it, and it is carried out in-house rather than somebody actually buying views on fiverr.

I'm sure a major record label who is pushing an artist on MTV already has a person familiar with private proxies and servers enough to boost the views, likes, and anything else they want on their payroll.

This is very true, Keep in mind that there are a lot of record labels, some that even have distribution through major labels like Sony and Universal, these smaller labels are notorious for pushing new artist and buying a ton of fake activity. I'm aware that indie labels utilize fake activity hell I am even using it myself now lol. But having served a long time with the majors, I'm telling you it's not going down that way. It seems legit though, like buy some activity to look good make yourself seem as if you have fans to attract others but, the majors do not play in that field, there is no need to. Millions is spent behind advertising and target market outreach and having personally signed off on these kinds of advertising budgets I really wouldn't see the point. You have to actually see this stuff in action. Millions of fans support the artist they love. I know this doesn't seem like truth though but it is.

I on the other hand love fake activity because it really works on having potential customers think you are big, and since I do not have access to the money the labels do, I have to employ some way to make it seem like i'm big if anyone is going to buy my product. Customers can be vein they want to use and buy from people they feel are already popular.

Once again if you are asking if the majors use fake or in house proxies, NO but indie labels (and yes even the ones distributed by The majors who stamp the majors name on their sites) certainly do. and me I SURE THE HELL DO!!!

I imagine that some of the videos get promoted from some of the top view sellers here. You would be shocked how many "Viral Media Agencies" are just reselling services they find on here.

SEO is a very good way to drive ALOT of real legitimate hits to so some of these new stars. My guess is they use fake social media hits initially then once they have real recognition they stick to purely white hat methods, you know, faking it till they make it. If obama was buying fake social media hits i'm almost certain even majors are buying fake social media hits.

Most don't buy them at all. Music videos on YouTube generate massive amounts of views due to people replaying them. Think about all the songs you have loved and replayed time and time again, well each time you watch the video again, thats another view. This is why generally music videos have a lot more views than other types of videos.

However, there's obviously some that buy views, some that have their own ways to do views in house, some that buy views through youtubes video advertising platform. For the most part, they are legit views. I remember when Gangnam Style came out the stats were super sketchy but that was a while ago, things have changed big time.

They don't need to buy views when they can buy a "Trending" slot directly from Youtube, forced "recommended/suggested" slots in a queue, and other shitt ways Youtube is watering down the site these days.

I disagree. Youtube would most likely not risk that. We live in a world that thrives on leaks and whistleblowers. If that was never made public Youtube's trust factor would evaporate overnight.

It's no different from any other business model. You need marketing and advertising to attract, capture, convert, and build a customer base, sales etc. No different from running a FaceBook ads for "likes" campaign. obviously major record companies have CAPITAL to run such marketing ads, plus they already have a massive fan/subscriber base. including the individual artist themselves .

I don't think they buy views at all. Or at least they mixed it with views from Facebook advertising, Google adwords, and other Marketting stufff.
