Page blocked from sharing links

Hey guys,

Recently 7 of my pages had been temporary blocked (see attached file) from shareing links. Pics and videos I can share. But the problem that my articles monetized by instant articles. I did not violate any terms of policy. I'm working through FB since 2011. I've tried to appeal, no answer.

Is anyone has the same problem or know the solution?

the same thing happened to 2 of my page and now i'm afraid this is going to happen to all of my pages...

Could you share some light onto what links you were sharing ? Like what was the content ?

I got a reply saying "Your Page has been limited for causing people to like or engage with it unintentionally in a misleading way. Our Page Terms state that: 'Pages must not contain false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive claims or content.’ All Pages must comply with the Facebook Page Guidelines."

same happened to me with four of my pages on Wednesday, just sharing to links per hour with decent content..
i'm afraid that they changed something in their algorithm is not very consistent..

In my experience, It does not matter, how many you are sharing. Because one of my page share only 8-10 links per days, still get blocked for 7 days.

We have to find out what bothers fb since their messages are not helpful at all

So if this is no frequency then it could be the number of box ads, I have 4 adsense box ads and 1 from adnow
But still this is weird
Could be that I post the same article to 5 fb pages from different profiles
We have to identify what is common among us

I just got another page blocked. The post that initiated it had no words on the pic, there was no clickbait but it was something that would interest people.

as far as ads go we have an ad network, 3 ads on the page.

The post initially posted but as soon as it started getting traction in analytics it got deleted and i got the block message

Are you adding play buttons on the featured images?

No i post 10 posts and 1 video per 24 hours. I was careful to not even have letters on pics

it's a 7day block, it will be removed automatically, so the question is how we move on after this..

It means the thumbnails for the links didn't feature any writing. I was having trouble with a particular link and when I checked out the rival website in the niche they'd posted the exact same thing but the thumbnail was different (as in had no writing on it) and it posted.

I suggest you guys to create a new page with 0 Likes and Publish the link on it before posting it to your pages. If the automated system doesn't remove the link from the timeline then i believe it is safe to post it on big pages or you can also share the link from the new page to your other pages. It might be a better idea but i haven't tried it yet.

This is the kind of stuff they're trying to eliminate:

after investigating further and examining several sites with the same post (and same wording in title) along with some tests i did it seems that fb algorithm is not consistent at all
some times the post is accepted and some others not...without any obvious reason
they are testing something but this could be done in their labs and not in real environment with the result not to know what to expect or be carefull.

you're right, this is not consistent at all...
the same link gets removed on some pages and doesn't in some...
but recently it's been few days this has been slowed down on my pages.. i've not have much removed links.. but I can't be excited about that..
the last time I got excited... the links kept getting removed from one of my pages that has over a million likes..

from my experience I think there's more chance of future links getting removed when something starts getting extremely high reach..

from my experience I think there's more chance of future links getting removed when something starts getting extremely high reach..

In my opinion, there are probably two causes to this:

• I've always believed that Facebook assigns a quality score to pages based on a number of factors, which probably include the types of content posted, interactions, and the quality of the page's followers. I have no proof of this, but I believe this score must exist, it would be silly not to. They calculate a user's interest in your page (Affinity Score), so why wouldn't they attempt to gauge overall page quality?
  
• The overall quality of your page's average post.

Based on those points, a page that posts clickbait more often would probably have more actions taken against them, and a powerful page from a highly reputed brand can probably get away with a lot more than another page with lower quality followers, ad spend, etc. Of course, these are just my beliefs, but they would account for what you're seeing.

Don't believe for a second that Facebook cares about the number of likes you have. Facebook knows the game of pumped up, low-quality page likes. Heck, they sell them through their advertising platform. There is no question in my mind that they are scoring pages based on followers, post-quality etc.

They don't want you exiting Facebook, thus links are BAD. I bet if you share the exact same content inside FB it'll be ok. It's not about the content, it's about keeping everyone in FB.
