For myself personally I do not condone marrying for money...but that's just me. I won't sit in judgment if somebody else walks down that pathway....would you?
We see all over the place women want to find a rich husband and marry him for his money and these rich guys happy to have a gorgeous lady on their arm so if both are getting what they want then why should we take some moral high ground and be critical towards their choice? Maybe it was the dating service who was at fault by bringing these two people together?
Of course, humans/women/children etc. are not for selling!!

You offered a job and I took the job, nobody's free will was violated.
We have to respect free will decisions that people make for themselves (where those decision do not hurt or violate another persons free will). If someone wanted to provide the service of surrogate mother for a fee it is really their business and not mine. I find nothing ethically out of bounds with that sort of thing...in fact surrogate mothers do this all the time for couples who cannot conceive for themselves.

The marriage thing is outside my bounds here in terms of what service I would be performing. Option A is the "carry his baby" plan and yes I would have to take steps to ensure that she is indeed in good hands and not mistreated in any way. This would the part I would feel 100% responsible for if I do this.
I discussed this with a legal buddy of mine and he says Mr. Rich will need hire an attorney who is proficient in contract law and have the arrangement put into a legal format. This person, whoever she might be would be using me as an intermediary to ensure the contract is followed and that she understands her options and recourse. She would have to be given sufficient means to travel and support herself and travel back home in case things went sour or she got cold feet.
The more I look at the specifics the more of a job it does seem to be.
In terms of things like ...he turns out to be a dick and she is unhappy..they fight over money etc. this would def. not be in my area of responsibility any more than it would be OKcupid's fault if some couple ended divorcing after they met on that site. Nobody can assure how things work on that level but I can assure that she would not be walking into a trap of some sort..or abusive situation that she could not extricate herself from. If I end up doing this then I must fulfill that obligation as an absolute bare minimum.

Option 1 would be just me collecting 20 or 30 candidates based on his specifications and then making the introductions. After that walking away. I think I would charge about 2k for this service considering I would be hunting so many people down and doing the vetting etc. Mostly legwork and nothing more but there is a problem with this option as it puts this woman in jeopardy if things were to not work out well and I can't in good conscience leave her on her own like this if i am the one making the introduction.
Option 2 is the one where I act as full intermediary for the entire process so she has a liaison in her corner should she decide to opt-out at some point or finds herself in a bad situation and needs assistance. I basically follow through with the entire legal process of the contract until it is concluded (that is she gives birth and fulfills her part of the agreement and is paid final settlement for her services). In this scenario my input is quite a bit higher and probably I charge something like 20k-ish or thereabouts. Not life changing money at all and most likely this is something I intend to walk away from.

However, helping a man find a wife and have a child is quite a big deal, no? If this guy is really a multi millionaire he's being pretty cheap lol. You're basically going to change his life and give him one of the greatest gifts one can have in life and the most he's willing to squeeze out is a couple thousand dollars.. I guess the idea is that he can find someone else to do it if you decline.

Yeh at this point i have to agree...I can't in good conscience try and do this thing. If something did not work out and she was hurt in any way my conscience would literally kill me and there's no amount of $$'s that could fix that...I'm going to point this guy towards some licensed marriage service. They will provide for safe passage and arrangement for the woman as they do that sort of thing all the time.
The 20k was my idea of a fair price. In terms of what a multi-millionaire thinks is a good deal I have no idea...maybe much more or maybe not.
Since I am not proficient enough in this area to handle this I decided to take a pass...not sure what amount would make it worth it.
Just for the record though..I don't have any moral judgement against this kind of activity..a rich man seeks a trophy wife or a trophy wife seeks his bank account..fine by me if people want to pursue happiness in that way. A prostitute seeks a John or vice versa is still just fine in my eyes, there is no victim where there is two willing parties imo...but that is not why I decide to decline this. I just can't risk the possibility of some harm to the woman and myself being involved...being unable to remedy the situation or help her from a foreign land. This is a job for a professional, licensed service, not a well meaning "friend of a friend".
