The moment someone writes an essay on why a superhero is awesome is the moment I walk away.
To me that means you take your superheros way too seriously. You have actually analyzed these imaginary beings and validated their existance by trying to apply real world logic to a fantasy. You are seriously trying to justify them and their behavior as if they are real.

I don't like nerd fights. Nerd discussions are fine. Nerd fights are pathetic.
I used to troll Star Wars fans by joining their groups and then saying Anakin/Darth Vader brought balance to the force. Those geeks went fucking mental. Like they would legit go on for pages about how it wasn't Luke, it was Anakin, or it wasn't Anakin, it was Luke.
When really, who cares? None of this is real anyway.
Why can't I just dislike a superhero and express my dislike of them? Why do I have to get essays and people ganging up on me and telling me I'm wrong?
My personal preferences are wrong?

So let me get this straight, you decide to put up a meaningless thread and then when someone engages you on it for fun, you determine they wrote too much and you give up? Who is taking this too seriously? You are taking this wayyy too seriously.
I'm sorry the stupidity of that post made me laugh. You realize its hypocritical right? I never said you couldn't have your own opinion about a fictional character, I simply gave mine opposing yours. So you are saying that if someone has an opposing opinion to your they are indirectly telling you that you are wrong instead of discussing something that YOU brought up in the first place.

I really was not trying to cause tension. I was just joking, when I read that about the essay, I was like what the hell I was having fun with you. The only reason I said anything was to make someone realize there is no reason to call anyone names for discussing something with you.
