IRC Dead? Where's Everyone?

Yeah, I'm all for a Slack group. There are some interesting Slack communities in the tech space already but it would definitely be nice to have one BHW.

I think Discord would be ideal for this kind of groups too! It's anonymous, user friendly and kinda cool tbh

IRC and i go back to the days of my i486 Spend hours upon hours on it at a multitude of channels. Learned a lot. Do miss the trout slaps lol

I am guessing maybe its not on the cards because its counter-productive to the forum - ie it will be driving traffic away rather than to the forum.

I read a similar comment about a similar idea months/years ago, def not a good idea
